I get it, and maybe you are right, but I know where he is mentally and am just trying to throw him a life line. It doesn't cost me anything.

The fact that so many people are upset that this got abandoned is proof enough that it would have garnered at least some attention.
The dev could have just said/done nothing for a WEEK at least, and just waited to see what people think; even if he had already decided to drop the project.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this was just marketing stunt to get attention, because it has definitely gotten that.

Don't know why people seem to think making adult games makes easy money considering most devs won't barely make anything until they build a loyal playerbase and that can take years.
