Well that's true it's funny .I do find it amusing you called out someone for piracy while dwelling on a piracy site.

I just answered Doom's message awhile ago.I do find it amusing you called out someone for piracy while dwelling on a piracy site.
The MC lives with Izanami.hey the MC live with his aunt and cousin if im not misaken, do you plan in the future some mom ?
The problem is that he/she's earning money when devs didn't gave permission to sell those, most likely. It's not about piracy here because if he/she was sharing the game in a "public" way like us then no one would care (us, at least. Devs may want to have at least some sort of ref link, where the game is originally), but since it's simple profit on others works without permission, it's "illegal". It's not really correct.I do find it amusing you called out someone for piracy while dwelling on a piracy site.
Well, it's patreon page. He/She wants money through patreon for someone else's work? I think it's not the sameI do find it amusing you called out someone for piracy while dwelling on a piracy site.
Hmm that's weird, I never encountered the "alt tabbing" freezing, but I'll double check that. There's a bug at the start when your cousin shows you the arcade and lake. After lake a question pops up "do you want to go home?". If you press No, you're stuck with your cousin tagging along and you will still meet cousin outside the house and indoors as double. You can't progress the story anymore.
Also a bug occured to me at the start after school. When "after school" message popped up, I got stuck in the screen after swapping to another window for a while.
The concept of this game is fantastic. Loved it. But the style and difference from normal RPGM characters makes it feel sort of odd And I wish you could constantly run. Hoping this third start let's me progress futher
Ok I got stuck again. The game froze when I alt tabbed from the game window for a short while.
I agree. F95 isn't a "piracy" site, they provide the link of the devs and there are genuine "patrons" here. I would honestly say F95 helped me publicized my game and got patrons in return. The problem is that he/she's earning money when devs didn't gave permission to sell those, most likely. Of course it is.I agree. F95 isn't a "piracy" site,
I apologize for my misdirection as English isn't my native, I meant "isn't just a pirate site" that's my bad. Anyway, I hope it settles that my game was only released publicly on the said patron page, I guess that's where we should end the topic about it as we are all happy now that it has come to light. Hehe! Thanks Avaron1974!Of course it is.
Games are uploaded and people download them for free. It's the very definition of a pirate site, even the person that started it has it down as a pirate site.
Hey Zachy!Hey hey hey! I just played your game and I wanna give my humble opinion about it.
I won't say anything about the title screen, since it looks like it's a WIP. But you could've put a placeholder at least, until you have the finished title screen.
So... I'm gonna start talking a bit about the first map.
It looks like you used parallax; because those trees on the starting map are not following the grid pattern of RPG Maker.
However, at a first glance you can see a little bit of unharmony between the different tiles used, since you are using the rocky path that comes with RTP combined with a totally different grass texture. And combining pixel-art with photorealistic textures is a big no-no.

You could also have worked better on this tree's collisions, because it's excessively big on the left side, and too small on the right side; at the point I can get inside of it. About the little forest on the left, the collisions couldn't be better; but the problem is that you put the leaves on the same layer than the ground, thing that makes the player walk above them (You can fix this using a parallax script that allows using multiple layers).
The house's collisions are pretty messy too. They're missing a whole line of tiles on the right side, and have an extra one on the left side.

Also, this tree shouldn't be here, because on a 3D perspective it would be getting inside the house. (This gets fixed on the 'night' variation of the map, I don't know why you didn't add the fixes made here to the original map)
Overall, the whole map looks empty. And I think you should've focused more on it since it's the first thing player sees.
About the house inside, it looks pretty good. It has some nice shading and the rooms doesn't feel too empty (I can't say the same about the main hallway tho).
It took me really long time figuring out that there were actual doors inside the house, since they just look as darkened-out spots, maybe you should make them look like actual doors haha.
Mapping gets a bit more lazy when you get to the school, since there's no more shading. I can say pretty much the same about all the school: maps feel pretty empty and way too big, they also don't have depth since there's not too much shadows.
The same thing also applies to the alley seen in that little cutscene with Clio and the Arcade Plaza.
There's something weird on the flower shop on the Arcade Plaza, since you get kicked (?) from the shop and then you get the shop menu outside the building. Say what? Also, the shop music starts playing endlessly after this. Maybe you should stop the BGM after exiting the shop menu.
I really like the Lake. I'd say it's the most good-looking map the game has.

Err... Also, I don't know if this is supposed to be normal, but after I refused going my house when I was on the lake, this happened. I just broke the game by pressing 'no' on a desicion branch lol (it doesn't happen if you choose 'yes').
I also like the day/night cycle you included. It's pretty good.
There's not too much to do after the first day, besides from getting the three scenes (Sleep, Bath and Dream) and working endlessly to buy flowers for Inazami without any result (?).
About the art, I really like it. I'd say it's perfect, and it fits the characters so well.
However, I can't say the same about the pixel-art. It feels kinda weird, but unfortunately I can't point my finger on that thing that makes it 'weird' for me. Maybe it could be the shading on the sprites, or the color pallete.
Anyways, I think this game has potential. With a bit more of experience on RPG Maker, you could make it a really fun game. I'll stay tuned about further updates, keep up the good work!
Mmm... about the shop clerk talking to you from the outside, I wasn't able to reproduce the bug now that I tried. I don't know what triggers it, but it is just as I told you; after the little cutscene when you talk to the shop clerk and get outside, the shop menu opens. Yes, after getting outside.Hey Zachy!
5. Flower shop - hmm.. can you PM me and send me a screenshot including the time when it happened, I've tested the maps several times and sometimes people encounter weird things and it seems bugs are hiding to me when I'm doing the test, I even recorded 50 times of sessions where in I played the game for 2-4 hours just repeating intro and other stuff haha!!
6. BGM - shop music, do you mean in the shopping district?
or if it's in the flower shop I'll double check and have a fadeout of BGM. I actually have a common event to fadeout every BGM if player gets out of the shops and other maps. I'll take a good look on that.
