RPGM - Completed - Student Pres. Rio vs Kouhai Abductor: Bring Order to the School [v240124] [Starlit Sky]

This is a game with what I would consider "High Production Quality", but "Terrible Everything Else". I'll elaborate on that.

By production quality it feels very professionally done. It doesn't seem to be buggy. The renders are just fine. Those are good. The mechanics seem to work out well enough as well. There is also enough areas to explore it is not the most tiny map, and that's about all the "Good" I can say for this game.

Now here are the problems with the game, and they are many. I'm probably going to miss some:

The game starts out with the female protagonist getting raped. This is probably the worst possible way to start out any female protagonist game. Because if you were hoping for a "Virgin Run" Well, sorry that is out the window in the first 5 minutes.

There is no love interest. You are a female lead and there is no male love interest such as a boyfriend / childhood friend or classmate. The closest you get to a love interest is the pink haired bimbo girl, but you don't get to fuck her or even kiss her or marry her or rescue her. She gets kidnapped and then gets dicked down the whole time while you are chasing after her.

The story is abysmal. It's basically the Principal of the school is a rapist and kidnapper. Then you go Mario Style from dungeon to dungeon with "The Princess is in another castle" at the end of every dungeon.

Sometimes it is transalted wrong and they want you to input Japanese characters for a passcode to get past doors. You can bipass all that by getting it wrong several times in a row then you just smash the control panel and get through the door that way without a password, but it is not obvious to do that.

There seems to be 0 difference in 100% Erotic rating and 0% erotic rating between various sex scenes. So, if you get an erotic scene with 100% maxed out lewedness and 0 lewdness it doesn't make a difference. There is no level of corruption present.

The story is just awful. It's a badly done NTR game where you don't have a love interest. Because you can't get with the one you are rescuing. And it feels like it's all on a rail and only has 1 ending.

The difficulty settings dno't seem to make a difference. I played it on the hardest difficulty setting, but I got a lot of free level ups just by going AFK. I went to the first dungeon and stood in a spot where 3 enemies spawn and run at me hitting me for 0 and going kamakaze on me. I went and took a shit, and ate breakfast and came back half an hour later with like 20 level ups and it was easy from there.

That's another thing the combat system sucks. There are turn based combats and on screen combat where just bump into them or hit with sword, but don't need the sword becuase they run at you and die.

The story don't make much sense, and there is no "Justice" / "Payoff" at the end. The bad guy who raped you at the start, and kidnapped your friend and made you go on this long journey that is very repetitive dungeon hopping around.... Do you kill him? No.... Does he go to prison? No.... It's basically "Oh, you won the game congrats. I won't be punished, just go about your business!" But you didn't "Win".... Becuase he still raped you... And he still raped your friend... And he faced 0 justice.

The writing is the worst part about this game. The whole plot is stupid, and it's bsically this:

You get raped. Your friend is kidnapped and raped over and over. You run around watching her get raped from dungeon to dungeon. Then you beat the game and no justice in the end. Can't avoid the rape. Can't get justice.

Oh! And the dialogue choices don't seem to mean anything. You get to a boss and then you get choices on what to say, but that don't make a difference what you say. It's like they give you options on what to say, but it doesn't change anything. It's like they put in a system for branching choices but made no branches. At least not to my knowledge.

Oh! And you are stuck wearing the same exact outfit the entire game. With a female lead. There is no like "Side Jobs" to do either. There is nothing like go work as a waitress, or stripper, or hooker, or at the item shop to make money. They don't do any of that stuff.

They make every effort to suck the fun out of the game.

-No Virgin Run
-Badly translated impossible passcode you must repeat fail to pass
-No noticeable corruption level changes
-Meaningless choices
-1 Outfit the entire game
-No Side Jobs
-No Love Interest
-No payoff / justice in the end

I'm only giving this 1 star. It's so poorly made for such high production quality.

to be honest i get it why people give this game low star, at which :
1. no freedom (its all according to what the game want you to do)
2. feels slow and the event is not that "engaging" as how usually H games is
3. no repeatable event unless you go to gallery and no development between the MC and other random event/NPC

but the thing is this game covered most of RPGM games dont have too which:
1. animated and beautiful MC
2. animated sex scene in some cases (not all) but its still look good with x-ray
3. some interesting ending which you can choose based on what you want how it end

for me personally i like how the MC actually got fall in love or end up with the "ugly bastard" which is rare nowdays. and i found it hot. even thou its just diary based. like cmon tell me why yall keep saying that all UGLY BASTARD is bad and not good being someone to be love ? who do you think work really hard to get some money ? like for example some people just dont have time or not have freedom to do something like normal people did thats why they do something bad. but if it turn out to be love story and both fall in love isnt that beautiful ? this one of the game that give us vision that they just want love. and i think its pretty hots

but my personal opinion aside, i think this game is worth to be tried, even thou i do agree some of you gonna think "these lewd meter is useless", or "not many thing to do (less content)" but just give it a try and see the good point from this game. and from my review maybe you will like it.

A classic RPG with its flaws and advantages.

From the advantages:
Classic rpg gameplay without questionable changes from the author.
An interesting story with the development of the heroine.
Interesting thoughts and ideas in the implementation of the game.

Disadvantages:
Everything is like in classic RPGs:
Monotonous, same-type gameplay.
A classic plot where the heroine has to save the world.
A small amount of content.
Endlessness of the game despite the fact that it is Completed

tl;dr: low expectations, but still disappointed

The story hardly makes any sense, and the sex encounters make even less sense.

For example there are encounters where you sit on a bench, and someone watches from underneath. I was really astonished by how little sense the encounters made. The ones who did make sense were still unoriginal and bland.

There are no-sex quests which are basically "go there and grab me this thing from there" with nothing interesting going on about them. The things you have to grab spawn after you get the quest, so there is a lot of running back and forth.

The sex scenes are basically one pose scenes - and not even interesting poses at that.

The combat is just you walk on the enemies and they die. The boss fights switch to a typical rpg-maker style combat, but there is no challenge whatsoever.

A really, really disappointing game, even when I had small expectations. First time I play a porn game that I find so boring. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt that it would be a shame for other ppl to also waste their time...

To keep it brief, this game is weird.

At first glance, it might look like high quality with nicely designed locations and a funny story setup. Then the game starts, and you're given the choice to go straight to the first quest or do some side events first. Well, if you do the events, you unlock literally 50% of all scenes even before starting the actual game. Other events are mostly defeat events from bosses.

I did three main quests, and each time, you unlock about two new scenes for the whole town (10 locations + its layers).

I'm not sure if it's worth my time to search for new scenes every time after progressing through the main quest.
