Edit: Apologies, it seems that I've spent the past 10 hours playing the game in only chapter 1 without realizing that somebody had already translated chapter 2 lol. Thanks again for the translation!

The worst thing about this game is that it's borderline abandoned from what I can tell. Author was cooking, and I just want more more more!

It's hard to say what the game's status is. The developer pretty much disappeared for almost a year after the harassment thing and AFAIK they never actually said whether they were dropping it even after returning a few months ago.
My gut feeling says abandoned, but I don't know any more than y'all do.

I agree. I really hope it's not abandoned, but it's hard to think otherwise based on the information available to us rn.
For the mansion plot, when I talk to the author, she says there is an ending in which the butler continues working and the maid's trickery is revealed, however, it says I need to find a computer with internet access and I don't know if I'm severely missing something but the only computer that seems to be interactable in the mansion is the one in the library with no access, is the 2nd ending just not implemented or something?
Never mind, figured it out - in case anyone's stuck like me, proceed as normal but when you get tied up by the butler and go to Cher don't go to the butler immediately, go to the butler's office (door to the left) first, pick up the email, and then go to Cher's room's computer to read the emails. and THEN go confront the butler

If you bought the cellphone from Cher before you were captured, you need to use it to call her after breaking free. If you didn't buy it before you were captured, I'm afraid that's a softlock. You'll have to reload a save or restart.
