does the game have chapter 4 in development ? and if so, how many chapters will it include in its final version ?
Chapter 4 is already in development. The full project will have 100 chapters.

5 chapters are one game, each era has 4 games. So each era (right now we are in the bronze era, chapter 21 will start with the medieval era) has 20 chapters. 5 eras in total are planned.

Question, in that case, what era is the warlock game considered part of? Unless it's just a spin off entirely and not cemented in the main story of Succubus Covenant (considering that the ship wasn't seen in it).

On that note, liked how the lore was kept between the games. Playing the warlock game was interesting given what I thought I knew about the lore and context from this one.

Warlock Saga takes place approximately 10 years before the start of Succubus Covenant. :)

I couldn't answer that without asking Zion first but I see someone else already helped you with that. =3 Personally I'm not that happy with the side story (maybe later when some connections make more sense or I see the greater concept behind it) but if it helps the dev to have something else to work on so he can collect more ideas for the main project or having a little breather from time to time... so be it.^^

Zion Will the generals get voice in english or only in japanese?
Voices will be in japanese only because it fits very nicely (imo japanese VA's really know their stuff if they stay in their culture and make the most out of it) and the current VA seems competent enough to deliver the sadistic nature of the succubus without going overboard.

I can feel the Greek influence from here...

So, I kind of fudged my save. I wanted to do one save for the "Wandering God" side of things, and one for the "Puritan Hunter" side. I'm not sure I have the patience to push through all of that again. Does anyone have a "Puritan route" save they'd be willing to share?

And, on the subject of the "Wandering God", I'm getting some G-Man vibes from him. His interest is stated to be "purely for his own entertainment," but, he's also a factor in the creation of the succubi. I get the sense that the Succubi Queen's power pales compared to his, yet he does nothing significant beyond help a single tribe of people in one corner of the world. Assuming his statement about the Queen herself being incapable of stopping him, I'm curious if he's something of a primordial entity manifesting in a form that the mortal races (and succubi) can comprehend. If not, then the question becomes "how weak are the existing tribes that one lone incubus can slap them down and not even need to break a sweat while doing it?"

I'm not a big fan of the plant demons in the forest, or the other demonic creatures. I feel like, with their placement, too much of the exploration becomes a grind to either avoid combat, or endure a battle with minimal reward to the player. I can't even entertain an argument along the lines of "w-well, they provide materials that are worth money," because, by the end of the current public version, I had more worms, spears, and money than I knew what to do with, and had yet to sell any runes. The tomes you get in the temples, the jewels you can mine, and the surplus of random gold chests make it pointless to farm anything beyond the first quarter of chapter 1. Even if you wanted to, the Sumer temples you can explore provide enemies whose rewards already outclass the plant demons' before you encounter the latter.

I did encounter Sumer chests that I hadn't found keys for, and no obvious hint as to where those keys could be. Maybe I have to backtrack?

I feel like part of my reluctance to replay the entire thing just to acquire an alternate endgame relates to the over-abundance of enemies blocking my path, and the lack of ability to avoid intrusive cutscenes. I get that you want to tell a narrative, but there are moments where I absolutely couldn't care enough about it. I like lore bits. I wish I could read them when I want a break from pulling weeds for the Hammerfell tribe, or punching Bloody Jaw tribesmen (who may all be Scots, ), rather than having to need a notebook and putting on a kettle for each cutscene.

Those issues aside, I am curious to see what the next chapter provides.

There is a very serious problem: the dynamic CG function in the full version of ch3 is completely lost, although the cg file of the game is still divided according to the dynamic plug-in

Well, the seraphim is obsessed with him so I assume they both plan something evil. The Incubus could easily wipe out most succubus but I guess they use the whole crisis to hide their own agenda. Most likely total dominance over humanity.

This might be true for now but we don't know how much stuff will cost in the future. I think in chapter 6 we will be able to enter the first of the three great cities and get a wide variety of items which won't be cheap. Plus our own village already has two expansions for 150 gold each. That won't stay that cheap for sure.^^

You have to fight the void creatures lurking in the sumer ruins. One of them has the key so you will have to kill just a few or all, depending on how lucky you get. There's one key for each ruin (tier 0, 1 and 2).

You can speed up text with ctrl and iirc enter is to move up moving speed from sprites. Not a perfect solution but you can probably save around 50 % of the total gameplay time compared to reading everything.

Which brings to mind the people from the barren world and why he let things there go down the crapper. Maybe preference on limiting the successes of Humanity and other races to exert much greater influence?

Even if we get Super-Duper Potions that cost 200 gold apiece in the future, I feel like having so many enemies and so many treasures that provide so much gold is going to offset that. Plus, like I noted, the void creatures tend to provide a better farmable reward than the demons in the forest.

I just hold shift whenever I'm walking and x whenever a cutscene occurs. It does push through everything, so yeah, about 50% of the time is cut.

By the way, I forgot to mention I loved the scene with Asariel in chapter 3.

Angels may not allow hunters to abandon their fight against the demons (and I wonder how much empathy they truly have with mortals) but she at least helps. And is truly in love, which makes her decision to not lose the old hunter whose name I can't recall both totally understandable and tragic.

I wonder if the PC will have to deal with that himself, and if so if it'll be a linear or branching mission.

I hope it has options. Man, am I hooked with this series.

It's either lust for control or an absurd level of boredom.^^

Well, we shall see if there will be a balance or if being rich all the time with little effort will become a meme. X3
