Just got done with the Atessatia side quest. And no sex scene? That's pretty fucking lame zion. Unless of course I missed something. I was really looking forward to banging her this chapter. Still overall a solid chapter, I cant wait to fight the succubus general who uses headscissors. I feel like the one puzzle when you get captured was really asinine. In fact, the only reason why I even continued at that point was the hope we could sex up that fine dark skin warrior goddess.. But oh well, Looking forward to chapter 4.

The love interests will be fully developed as characters. If you are seeking a game where sex just happens without reason, SC is not it and you better look elsewhere.
Don't misunderstand me, I enjoy the character development a lot. This is actually one of the few games on this site that I'm playing because I enjoy the story and the characters. I still don't really see why the sex has to be separate from the character development. Not only that, I feel like sex between Atessatia and the Mc could've easily worked at that point in the story after saving her. Especially considering the amounts of teasing you were doing, I felt like you were building up to a sex scene between them during the Atessatia side quest. I also remember being able to have sex with iole fairly quickly in the story. So I'm just confused that your trying to take your time with Atessatia . I still love the game, Besides the bull shit puzzle... But otherwise, I'm looking forward to chapter 4.

There are 20 chapters to develop the character of all four love interests in this era. If you launch everything in the first chapters you won't have anything else to tell later. The consequences are boring sex scenes to fill the pages.
I doubt you came for the story and depth of character development if you add pressure to add non-succubus sex that fast.^^'
Teasing is there to build up specific moments the player is looking forward to enjoy. If you first add a teaser and smack the reward at the same table seconds later the whole teaser thingy becomes meaningless.
Sadly you haven't noticed that Iole's sex scene was removed for now because it happened too early in the story. Zion was a bit too horny there and thought it has to go a bit slower. The game has a clear focus on story telling and adds sexy elements with care instead of turning it into an orgy slideshow.
I thought zion was only doing 5 chapters? Also Just because you think the sex scenes would be boring doesn't mean its gonna be like that for everyone else.
I could care less if you don't believe me. I'm not really into the whole energy drain shtick . I don't really care that the guy dies. But I would prefer if the succubus would just milk the guys normally with the succubus's getting drenched in cum. Despite the fact that this isn't the case. The game is still able to draw me in other ways like the art, characters, story, etc.
Yeah but there were already plenty of teasing between them during the main story. It can get to a point where your just over doing it. This isn't a tv show or a movie. Its a porn game. This seems to be something a lot forum users forget considering the excessive amounts games on this website that don't have porn in it.
unfortunately, I didn't know that. Im not exactly an active user nor do I really follow this game that much. I knew of the basic changes but that was it. If what your saying is true, then I still cant say I agree with that decision. As I felt, that the sex scene between iole and the Mc was setup rather well.

5 chapters for this game. The whole road plan is 5 eras, each with 20 chapters, or 4 games per era. However, it will be the same protagonist throughout the games of each era, so we aren't even 20% through his story yet.
I think a lot of your complaints stem from this misunderstanding. If you look at it as a single game of 5 chapters, yeah, I'd want the action to be more fast paced too. But if you look at it as a story of 20 chapters, spread across 4 games, cramming too much stuff into the opening act with nothing after is gonna upset the pacing. After all, a porn game is still a game.
plus you gotta consider the pacing for a couple other things: the lore and the developer. Lorewise, it doesn't make sense for the MC out on their first mission as a hunter, after years of training and conditioning to resist temptation, to start boning the week he left Avalon. And as for the Developer's pacing, as I said earlier, the goal is 100 chapters, with 5~6 succubi each, plus any extra scenes that may be added. A person can only produce so much good quality smut. gotta keep it steady, no using it all in one place.

I still don't see why the sex scenes have to be so scarce and spread thin between the love interests, when it could be plentiful. Because like I posted previously it is a porn game. The only other reason I can think of is that it would take more work to include so many sex scenes with the love interests. That of course would be a conflict of interest for Zion considering that's not a focal point of the game. That's a valid decision. Even though its not something I agree with. If he plans for the love interests only to get one sex scene per character, then it kind of feels like a half assed reason to even include them in the first place imo.
I mean lorewise, aren't the hunters perfectly fine with banging women? As long as their not a succubus? Its not like the hunters are monks. If my memory serves me right, I'm pretty sure there's conversation in the prologue while the Mc is in training that they should have sex with women frequently so that there not tempted to sleep with a succubus.

You could've done a better job explaining that in your first reply. Still, that's a valid argument I can agree with. But going cold turkey with the sex or romance in these chapters with love interests is not a good idea imo. Zion made the right decision to at least include one intimate scene With Atessatia. If he continues to do this with all the love interests, with every chapter or allows us to choose which ones were interested in. I would be much more open to the idea.
I hope you are aware, that this in no way applies to me. This was in response to your disbelief of my love for the game due to being disappointed in the amount of "non succubus sex". You should take your own advice with reading with care. Its no problem for me that my fetishes aren't in the forefront for this game. in fact, I reaffirmed in my previous post. That I enjoyed this game for its story and characters and other things, etc.
Fyi, I was mainly talking about Attesssia in chapter 3, but this could also apply to iole. especially considering Zion fucked up with removing the early sex scene. I cant confirm if that's true though. If it is, than I still hate it. Regardless of the developers vison, you should never remove content. Especially when the game itself isn't completed. I get what you are saying, and I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Here are some of my points:
-What triggered me to answer your comment was the word "lame". It made zero sense for a hentai scene with Atessatia at that moment. She's not convinced yet that you are strong enough to be "the one" for her, if you followed her story. She's very demanding with men. It's part of her appeal and personality.
-I saw you say "but it's a porn game". I consider SC an adult game, not a porn game. What the difference, you might ask: Not everything is about sex.
That's why, besides succubi who actually act like succubi, demons are demons and not hot girls. You have demon plants, demon spider, etc. None of them sexy.
That's why I take my time writing lore and characters motivations.
The moment I start to consider SC a just a "porn game" will be the moment you see me dropping it to work on something else. I have no motivation to work on a "porn game" with dick jokes and all that.
My motivation with SC is to create a world like diablo, but where succubi act like lust demons tempting men.
You however, are free to consider SC whatever you wish to be so.
-You said that adalon hunters like to fuck girls and have no problem. Yes, they do fuck them, no problem at all in that. Once they finish a job is only fair they go to a whore house. Love Interests however, are not whores. Sex will happen when it makes sense, Once you explore them and deepen your bond with them.
-I like to follow the story, what makes sense for each character. They will all have quests that will result in ecchi scenes. Later, once you deepen your bonds with them, these quest will result in sex scenes that will make sense for the story and their personality. The only enemies that use sex openly are succubi, because it's part of their being. They use sex as a weapon against men.
I mean if saving her from death. And all the other badass stuff she's seen Mc do aren't enough to convince her that he is strong enough then I don't know what will... Its still your decision, and I respect it. I do apologize for the word "lame" Since it bothered you so much. Your a hardworking dev. Your much more friendly and interactive with the community than a lot of other devs. I definitely don't want you to think that I don't appreciate the amount of work your putting into this.
