Each succubus has a different way of being defeated. With leaf hair, use Iron Will and Darvel (herb you collect from the forest) pre-battle, so you will become immune to paralyzes and temptation.

+ She's weak against blue flame (gauntlet skill).

Collect items and herbs and try using your skills. SC relies more on preparation and exploration than anything else.

PS: Don't forget to read what each skill and items does, if you are missing an enemy a lot, there will be a skill that never misses, for example. Read and test it out.

PS 2: The plants will continue to respawn until you deal with the general of the area.
I do like the diablo style approch, but still hope you work on the dating aspect( So we can have good relationships and sex without fearing for the live of our hero) and the villiage concept is intreasting.

can someone say if my cave town is supposed to not be joined? met 9 people in western parts of underground gove i said 'seek refuge in the tribes' but no one comes to my tribe? is this normal? it's just a gigantic empty space with a small hunter area but is there supposed to be more?

Your tribe will be developed with the love interests quest and you investing in it.

Yeah, you definitely came to the wrong place if you were just looking for hentai content lol

My intention was always to create a big and serious story (like diablo) with hot girls (both Love Interests and Enemies in it)

But hey! There are tons of games on this site and on the internet that will cover your needs :)
I'd like to get in on the discussion as well. And it's going to be a big post.

First, the good:
Let me start by saying that your game is the second-best succubus game ever (Myusca for the win) and has potential to be the best. Definitely top 3 with Succubus Prison: House of Lewd Demons and The Last Sovereign. The art and writing are excellent. Not all succubi are memorable, but many are and that's more than I can say about most games. For me it's the Leafhair, Dhalia (two prettiest faces), Daisy, Argeia, Dritta, the bloodsucker and the Thorn one from the last update (crazy glee on the variant where you defeat her). Honourable mentions - the bound one and the insect were pretty cool too, and so was the Polite Succubus - it had great writing, reminded me of Nemea a bit, but I wish the scene was a different angle, I couldn't really appreciate her beauty in that. Nemorosa, the elite ones from intermissions and the final boss of Ch. 4 are very nice too. I can review each Succubsu for you if you want :p I still return to check on this game after I forgot many others. I also appreciate how you engage with players here and are ok with the game being accessible. That being said, I hope you understand the following is not meant to discourage, but to help improve the game that I like a lot.

The bad:
- Cutscenes. I get it that you want to tell the story of the world you built. You put in the work, it is understandable. However, it feels a bit like a Dungeon Master describing his world to players for an hour while they want to get in on the action. I'm not saying the scenes are bad or badly written or anything like that, but they are UNSKIPPABLE and that is a bit of a problem. While I actually became interested in the story with the fugitives and the elf, I don't really care about the other hunters. I just didn't develop a connection with them. I understand it all connects together, the Embodied sun and his THICC sister, Kalim's cult being involved and all that, but they are not interactive, not skippable and very, very long. So in these cutscens I'm just holding ENTER and CTRL because holding both seems to make them go by faster and quickly read bits while doing that. The skipping is not fast like RENPY, I'll be holding these keys for a few minutes. It's not a case of skipping to the hentai content, because your writing is good. It's more like you have a book that flips between several characters and you hate one of them and just want to skip ahead. Or like that anime show with the spider, some isekai thing, don't remember the title - it flips between a cool spider plot and a boooooring human plot. It's kind of like that. Keep the scenes by all means, just give us the choice to skip them. Perhaps in a way where you show the beginning "Character B arrives in city C" Watch scene? "Yes" (default) "Summary" (shows a quick summary of events in 2 or 3 text boxes), "Skip entirely". Sometimes I'll watch them, but I'd like to have a choice.
- Weak monsters. I get why they are there, but these fights are very boring. At later stages it's just clicking repeatedly to attack them so you can get on with the rest of the game, even if they die in one hit. It's filler content. Perhaps just do a slash animation on the map with instant defeat of the weak monster? Or only add that after you are strong enough? "Cutting out the boring bit" is usually a good tactic. 2 or 3 interesting fights like the optional bosses are a lot better than 50 repeatable filler fights.
- Pacing - it is not a big deal, but was noticeable in the last update. Maybe it's just a one time thing, but almost all the succubus content was clustered at the end of the chapter. I feel that it's much better if it's spread around a little.

Ideas/suggestions, questions and such, let me know what you think about them if you have the time:
- Lunar clan still feeds on sacriffices, yes? Perhaps they could have a system where the people they live with will offer them a bit of energy, one orgasm per person and they have to excercise their will to let people go after that. Maybe it's even some sort of a public ceremony in the town square or something, people queing up to the kind-hearted succubi to offer them a bit of energy. Only when the victim begs them to take their life, they will unleash their true nature and take pleasure in the drain, showing a different face?
- Some more body variety maybe? The imp was a nice change of pace. I understand you prefer huge, thicc ones with enormous boobs. It would me cool to see some slimmer ones as well. Maybe big thighs, tiny waist, normal-sized boobs? Or a really thin one that just couldn't hind a human and her body regressed to a a very slim one?
- Maybe some bestly succubus that eats its prey whole using the tail (optionally spitting the carcass out after) or eats the "leftovers" that way? Not sure it would fit the setting though.


Conclusion: I believe you are wrong in saying that there are tons of games on this site and on the internet that will cover your needs. That is untrue. There are no games like Succubus Covenant. There is only Succubus Covenant. (and that prison one). This is probably why some of us really want to see this improve rather than move on to something else.
I hope this critique is helpful and thank you for a wonderful game.

That was a fair critique post with many pros and cons. Nicely done. But man... please use more paragraphs next time for better reading. Giant walls of text glued together are hard to read. :/

-Cutscenes: I get it that it's not for everyone. But that is my vision for the series, to show the other hunters, to show the world and I won't change that. What I'll do is to allow people to skip, in special because of the play-testing team, only to make their work easier. But that's just for the second game.
I understand you didn't bond with the other hunters, but many others did. Not every player is the same. Each gamer seeks something different from a game.

-Pacing: I'm not developing a chapter per se, I'm developing a game. So, no, I'm not worried about a particular single chapter having succubi at the beginning or at the end of it, as I worry about telling the story for the whole game. Some chapters will be bigger than others story-wise.

-Lunar Clan idea: There will be a Lunar Clan in the next game.

-Body variety idea: We will include more, yes. But I'll avoid too young looking ones, like the imp.

-Tail vore idea: That won't happen.

Yep! I'll develop much more on them. They will be a very important for this Era as a whole.

As for their state right now, I prefer you discover in the game itself. But they will be heavily shown in this Era already.

There was another Succubus game (I think I tried them all) called Tiffany's Trap I think. It was not very good, all about feet which I don't care about, but the combat with mobs had an interesting idea, the player would slash at a mob from the main map screen and they'd die if they were weak enough, move on. If the mob was tougher, it would retaliate and damage the player too.

Great, but I don't really mean younger ones, never liked Vinum if you know what I mean. Only included the imp as an example of variety, loli and shota are definitely NOT my thing, even the mage love interest looks a bit too young for my taste (not saying to change anything, just probably won't choose her). Just slimmer, like thise "skinnythick" models, with big thighs and slim waists, but fully adult. But since you say you'll include variety, I'll trust you on that. :)

Yea, just an idea, not fixated on that one. It was cool in that Monster Girl Quest game, don't remember which, with Alma Elma, but it's just a minor thing. Just like the tails I guess. The scene with the elite warrior succubus from an intermission was nice. How about strangling the player with the tail while draining him with sex?

I really appreciate your response and am happy you will add the option to skip. Will you consider an option of a text summary, so the people who skip can still know what's going on, or not?

Forgot it in the suggestions, but it would also be nice to see more kissing. Can be to calm the victim or inject paralytic venom like with the Insect Clan succubus. Maybe a Succubus that enjoys their victims being in love with the succubus, happily accepting the drain.

Also the new THICC love interest is wonderfully written, I enjoyed her side-plot a lot. I keep forgetting her name, wanna say Medea? Might be wrong on that. Will you add a harem path? Or an option to cheat with one love interest on another? I think it would fit Medea's character to bang the player secretly after he's committed to another girl, but you know her better.

As for the new artist, it's different, but still good. REALLY like the thorn succcubs.

One more idea, not sure if it would fit your plans: A weak succubus that cares a lot about advancing in the hierarchy and wants to use the hunter to do it. Proposes a makeshift alliance of sorts, provides intel etc. like the witch, could be her friend. When she's weak she asks for some energy promising to stop and actually stops knowing the hunter could end her with one swing, returns to be ecountered again, stronger each time. then possibly, when she's strong enough, she betrays the player trying to kill him.

Sorry for the wall of text, I should probably just make my own game to implement these, but I dodn't really have the time to commit to that. I did make some succubi in DAZ though :)

guys, does anyone have any idea how to defeat the last succubus located in underground grove that is like a rabbit? because she threw attacks and magic at him but I didn't do any damage

You can switch between her and her relic. The relic can only be destroyed if you hit it twice with pommel strike. If you want to defeat her without destroying the relic you have to switch target with left or right arrow keys.

I am still trying to figure out how can i upgrade the village? i already defeated the duchess and have visited every location i can see on the map. i upgraded the hunters for 150 gold once but that was it. how can i upgrade more exactly?

The full upgrade isn't available yet. Only in the final version of the game that I'm working now.

You have to progress with the story. You can upgrade two areas in the village but you can't upgrade the village itself to the next stage.

With chapter 3 lots of new stuff was added to the game. Fishing, hunting, wood cutting, stone mining, new sprites, new succubus and more stuff. Ofc there's chapter 4 with new succubus, story progression and a new PC look. If you like the game you should start a fresh save (don't even try to use an old chapter 1 or chapter 2 save, bugs will certainly happen due to all those changes) and see for yourself.

One more idea, not sure if it would fit your plans: A weak succubus that cares a lot about advancing in the hierarchy and wants to use the hunter to do it. Proposes a makeshift alliance of sorts, provides intel etc. like the witch, could be her friend. When she's weak she asks for some energy promising to stop and actually stops knowing the hunter could end her with one swing, returns to be ecountered again, stronger each time. then possibly, when she's strong enough, she betrays the player trying to kill him.

Sorry for the wall of text, I should probably just make my own game to implement these, but I dodn't really have the time to commit to that. I did make some succubi in DAZ though :)
-Kissing is more for the undead. Succubi feed on sperm, while the undead will feed on literal energy/ki from your body. I have one planned for the comic series.

-I harem path is a possibility. Although I can't confirm for now. But you can do their quest and bond with them all, no problem.

-a succubus like that would require a lot of work. I have plans for smaller, shorter games just focused on these type of scenario that don't fit the main game. Like a warlock summoning a weak succubus and sending her to kill their rivals as she grows bigger than bigger.
