You don't lvl up in this game the normal way. You can defeat all the enemies you want, there won't be any XP reward. You have to explore the dungeons and find chests with equipment to improve your stats. If you defeat succubus you will get equipment to deal more damage. Sometimes you can get additional boosts if you solve riddles or challenges in mini dungeons.
There's a replay room you can unlock through the game. Right now only chapter 1 and 2 have their scenes stored there. With the wip chapter 5 the remaining scenes will also get added to the replay room.

You have to explore more. You are missing one rock. The gap between the second rock and the other side of the river is too far to jump over.

Instead of leveling up, the PC gets stronger by equipping runes and artifacts.
Open the red chests you find spread through the dungeons; defeat succubi;go through the side ruins in the world map (the angelic/demonic/elven/dwarven ruins with tiers).
Then open the menu, go to equipment and press optimize.

Well you check the areas you haven't looked for. Some map sections have several exits so you will have to look more carefully. The problem won't solve itself if you just stand there and watch the clouds.
I know it impossible to swim, but I like to think than Aeolos hates swimming because of a truma when his mom push him to the water to save him
I believe I'm stuck and can't figure out how to progress. I'm somewhere near the end of Chapter 3 at this point and I know the version is Chapter 4 so I'm missing something. Last thing I did was finish clearing the Underground Grove out and then I was back at the Hammerfell Tribe and I exited there and did the little event where you meet up with everyone and the succubus with the green light in the distance appears. Checked her out - got Game Over'd reloaded and ignored the green glow and finished out the night at the camp. Now I don't know where to go. The Underground Grove is still a red arrow so I can't just walk through it like you can the other sections. Is there someone I'm supposed to speak to?
Talk with the leader of the Hammerfall tribe. The conversation will start chapter 4.

Exactly. Each above controlled all bellow them, as long as those vampires could be traced to them.
This is why the Veil was created, since a bloodline cannot go against their specific primogen (first or superior of the bloodline).
So, what happens when the both the forces of heaven and hell realizes that they're dealing with an group that has contracts with the enemy? I doubt if the demons will care, but I think that it's kind of interesting to have an pragmatic counterpart who's drawing power from both sides without the other somehow noticing.

Probably nothing, considering that the Veil and Yrdarvyr itself is just too small for them to care, in the large scale of things.
