It was removed due to happening too early in the romance build up. It will come back when the romancing has progressed enough to make it believable that banging would be realistic now.

I honestly don't think that the sex scene itself felt rushed. Yes it's clear that Iole has feelings for Aeolos, but it was also said in ch1 by the angels that Aeolos would need relief after having endured so many temptations by the time he cleared the vivid forest. Story wise I can't help but feel sorry for Aeolos being constantly blue-balled not just for the sake of self preservation but also self worth (ex:Medea).

He has the succubus. As long as he doesn't get too greedy he can bang them a little and survive. I'm happy Zion slowed it down a bit. There are so many chapters for each era. Not a good idea to add too many love interest sex scenes that early.

I was wondering- for the demo, is it possible for you to unlock saving? once you get past the original arrival at the city of avalon, and go to bed, you are unable to save until well into the game, even when the game prompts you to save, which is incredibly frustrating, as i keep dying to the ogre that comes from the tier 1 demonic ruin

It's abug for a change in a plugin, it will be fixed in the next chapter.
Just restart the game and skip the prologue, it will let you save.

Yes, both in this game and the sequels set in this era, the Bronze Age.
It's just the first choice of its kind.

The one you side with becomes your ally and helps you in different ways on later chapters
