Here's something I don't get. If Devil-V got injured, why not fire him and replace him with a better artist who is willing to keep working even if he's injured? At the end of the day, even if you can take a break from the project and it's an effective strategy to milk patreons, having no progress whatsoever is still detrimental to your growth. The answer is slow progress and dripfeeding content. To keep your subscribers happy, the idea is to let them know you are still working on the game despite the delays. That's how you maximize profits. But when you wait for Devil-V to heal, you are telling the fans that it will be pointless to be waiting for the next update for a while and you are telling the newcomers that it's not worth it to back this project, at least not for now. In turn, you miss a lot of potential profits. You know, you have been developing this game for more than 3 years, so you should start to get on with the grindset.

Telling an artist to continue drawing with his hand injured is like telling a football player to continue playing with a broken leg, apart from that people like consistency, they like the art to be the same, you can't change the artist every time.

Zion continues delivering games and writing and even a comic series, I also want to play the main series, but luck is not on our side now, so we just have to be patience.

Anyway, I agree with you that the first game should be done for now, I hope Devil-V a recovers soon.

I'm just saying. If a worker is not producing enough because of injury or other personal problems, it should be replaced by a more efficient worker. Zion is lucky he doesn't have to deal with dumb regulations regarding this. If the people don't like the quality of the product, then the people can search for other products of similar properties which there are none, and in any case, the profit comes above what the customer wants. I don't know why I have to explain this to you, this is capitalism 101, an important part of the sigma male grindset.

You are utterly disgusting. Maybe you should be forced to keep working after an injury or getting fired. You would be the first one to run into court and who knows, maybe you even get some shit from the judge.

In case you forgotten, this is F95Zone. This forum makes it possible for us to play the game without having to pay Zion a cent.

To put it short, money is never the goal.

If their patrons are fine with how everything is going right now, why does it matter?

The last part killed me. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Like I said before, people like the art to be the same, also Zion already replaced the artist before, other thing is that is not easy to hire another great artist to draw, they usually are overloaded with their own stuff.

I get your point, the first game should be done for now, but I hope things get better with the second game development, don't forget that this is Zion's first game after all.

You make it sound like it is easy to find a good artist that is able to produce sexual artwork for a "cheap" price at a reasonable pace.
Also, you have to consider that artists / employees talk to each other. If you act like an asshole chances are nobody wants to work with / for you.

^ This right here is the reason for the great resignation. I would really hate to be an employee for any place you were in charge of...

That isn't capitalism 101, that's sociopathy 101. Also this might be the first time I've ever seen someone use the term "sigma male grindset" unironically.

Youre an absolute asshole dickbag. There are things more important than MONEY MONEY MONEY, firing someone because theyre injured is something no person with a brain, heart and sense of empathy would do. To think that someone would consider firing a person due to an injury that will be fixed is bull. Sure, if he wasnt able to ever draw again itd be normal, but firing someone for an injury that isnt permanent because MONEY is just... no.
In conclusion, youre a terrible person

Exactly. There's your answer right in front of you. It's appalling to me how everyone here thought I was serious. My comments would have gotten a good laugh over at other forums, but no, not here, not at f95zone. You guys suck. I am starting to get an idea of the brain power of the average f95 user, and it explains a lot.
