I hated to do it (drop everyone), but this is unacceptable. I would love to be fly on the wall when the axe falls on the fucking idiot who brainstormed this Idea. and for the record it is not only adult game developers who are suffering a loss of pledges. My wife who is a writer lost the bulk of her support and is looking into alternatives to Patreon.

Good news that they reversed the decision (only due to the backlash they copped) but the reality is that one stupid, not very well thought out post has cost creators several thousands of dollars collectively because of it. Patreon, or whoever approved the idea to slap on the extra fee charges should really be held accountable for that. Obviously they won’t be, at the very least he/she should be sacked, and creators regardless of what their theme is, need to reassured that this will never happen again. Quite a lot of wishful thinking required though...
