the lead dev for this game mentioned in his discord that hes going to release an announcement for this soon, he also asked people to play test a week ago, so its not abandoned, he's just doing large updates at a time.

In fairness, his main point was assuming even if it released that it won't be as chunky as he hoped. I'm excited either way, a patch is a patch, I guess.
