VN - Ren'Py - Summer Heat [v0.6.1] [Naughty Fox Games]

Great animation of the characters and I do like the story a lot. All ladies and the MC have convinced me to follow this novel. Just hope, the development team or the developer will make it happen. It is quite some time from last release

I want to bump this up to a 4 or even a 5 but we gotta set aside the bias for amazing renders and scenes or at this point just one scene because there isn't much at all.

The last update (0.6) lasted only 5 mins without skipping. Imagine blitzing through that and then waiting over 1year just to deliver something like 10mins. (which btw 0.7 doesn't even have a date yet and its over a year in development) Its just insane at this point no matter how good the devs are. You are basically waiting annually for subpar progression with like 5-6 Li's excluding the side chicks too.

Its just not feasible at all to expect this game to survive the next 2-3 years. The mods that have no life tried their best to purge any jokes or criticism of northpx from this thread but even they don't believe in the product, hell they don't even play it. It is a great VN in terms of potential but reality says otherwise.

Great game with some very sexy female characters. Can't wait to see how far they go with the MC. Updates are getting a bit slow but hopefully still worth the wait. It's a good quality game with many future possible paths.

i’ve played more adult vns than i’d like to admit and summer heat absolutely wipes the floor with the rest. the characters actually feel human you don’t just click through dialogue waiting for the next scene you actually want to know what happens to them. the renders are crisp enough to make your gpu sweat. the story is smooth as butter with just the right amount of spice.


every update feels like christmas morning if christmas morning also involved multiple romance paths stunning visuals and moments that make you stare at your screen like an idiot. the soundtrack is chill as hell too half the time i’m just vibing on a scene because the music hits right.


only flaw? updates take a while but i’d rather wait for this level of quality than rush into some half-baked mess. naughty fox keep cooking this one’s top 1 and i’m not even debating it.

But... sometimes there are in the changelog over 2000 renders but it feels like 1200 maybe just different angle?

This game is great with beautiful graphics and bright lighting that captures every detail. It's a slow-paced game where you don't have to rush into the sex part, and I love romance games. This game is very fun and the characters are charming. But I deducted 1 star because it took so long to develop, but if it gets better I will give it full stars. I hope this game succeeds.

Good graphics, the models are really well made, but the story just lacks something. If you only care about the sexual part then this game will be great, however, some characters and the main plot are way too underdeveloped and this game takes ages to update, so there's a problem. But overall, great.

The story is quite interesting, but what truly stands out are the characters and the animation. The visual quality brings everything to life, and the romantic moments between the characters are especially well done. They feel genuine and emotionally engaging, adding a lot of charm to the overall experience.

Amazing Renders! One of the best here. Now I know why guys started to be photographs nowadays. A bit slow peacing but alot visual stuff to admirer.

I first discovered this game more than a year ago. After playing hundreds of games, it deeply touched my heart. The plot is immersive, and the details in all aspects are very attentive and top-notch, which is impressive.

Because I like it very much, I subscribed to a paid membership for the first time. Since I am also a creator at work, I can experience the hard process of creation.

However, it has been more than a year now, and I can understand the principle of slow work and fine work, but I still feel that the overall update progress is too slow. Although they will inform the current progress of the work in the members' channel every week, which is good, you still cannot directly download and play the game content.

It feels like it takes at least half a year to wait until you can actually play it, and the content doesn't seem to be that long. The wait of more than a year has slowly made me a little disappointed, so I'm sorry that I have to quit the paid subscription. I still wish you all the best in your work!

Very good FREEROAM POINT&CLICK slow burn ROMANCE GAME and very detailed graphically and technically.
In the game, you can see in every detail that the developer puts care and attention into every scene. Aside from the menu, the music, the animations, the lighting, and the dialogue.

The game is WELL DONE MAKED.

The only negative thing I can say is that it's too saccharine for my taste, with few sex scenes and a few LEWD.

Thanks for reading my analysis. The analyzes I make are based on my taste for the game I have played. I try to be objective although there may be parts that Im not. What interests me about these games is that they have little dialogue or interesting STORY (I don't like absurd stories just to read) and the SEX scenes. If there are good animations and good sound, for me it is already a GOOD GAME. Of course the last decision is yours, whether to play the game or not. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!

Looks interesting and could easily be 5/5, but personally, I cant give it more than 3/5 as it is.

PROS:
1. Renders and girls all look amazing.
2. For what it is, it's relatively well written. Girls have distinct personalities. No typos or anything like that either.

CONS:
1. Very little to no sexual content for the LIs.
And not in in the "how come we haven't fucked all the girls yet!?!" way either. The furthest MC goes with all but 1 of the LIs is kissing and holding hands. Seriously, you don't even get to see their tits. The one girl you actually get content with is just a BJ. To add insult to injury you get sex scenes with 2 random side characters that nobody really cares about and a bunch of NSFW renders from yet more side characters in a dating app on your phone in-game. Clearly shows that the dev is capable of producing such content, but chooses to waste it on side characters...
2. Little story/plot development.
For a game that's been in development for 3 years, there's very little actual story. I'm not even exactly sure what the main plot is supposed to be. 3. A lot of scenes are silent, which is strange, considering that others have music.
4. Mismanaged priorities in general
This is pretty subjective, but I feel that the dev sometimes adds unnecessary things to the game, instead of focusing on the story/relationships. For example, often times you will get the ability to view the render you're looking at from 2 or 3 slightly different perspectives. Also, the whole gimmick about taking photos of the girls. There's like 10-20 renders each time you do and it even has a tab in the gallery, even though these scenes don't really affect the relationships, but take dev time. And of course, all the NSFW content with side characters that I mentioned. All of these are nice extras, I guess, but not when it's at the expense of the story/relationships, which it seems like it is.

Overall, not much in it's current state, but very promising. The 2 main aspects of a great VN are there (beautiful visuals and decent writing). Could certainly be great in the future when there's more content (sexual and otherwise).

Ayo, this is actually kinda fire, no cap fr.

• Impressive graphics with beautiful scenery - among the very best in the genre.
• Immersive, emotional and sensual dialogue.
• Attractive girls with likeable personalities.
• Great music, ambience and sound effects.
• Focus on flirting and intimacy, slow-burn romance.
• Additional phone content is interesting and engaging.

I like what I see, I really do, but there is very little content so far. Just 6 chapters, 1-1,5 hrs each. 5 main girls and 2 side ones (probably more in the future), and 5 sexy scenes yet, only 2 of which is an actual sex. Not much of a story yet, way too little progress.

Free roam is very poorly integrated with the game
there is a lot of "wrong choices" that lead to subpar experience

i can't even tell what is main character even doing or want to achieve most of the times, i definitely can't do whatever i want...

Its early but I think the story so far is very lacking and honestly not that engaging. Im here for the girls because they all look smacking and the lewds so far is great. The writing is meh, I cant say its a super funny game or that you care that much about the characters. I like Sophie
