Miller is a sly dog and I can't wait to see what he's up to. I get the feeling he's been through it all and he's secretly the best wingman a guy could ask for.

I don't know if this VN is being made by a bigger team or just some very talented people, but the animation, sets, writing come together in a way that's rare to see. See you guys in 5 years when the game's almost finished XD
It's on a weaker side if you're looking for lewd content, but is superb in it's writing. Not the story, it's irrelevant, but the interaction between all the characters and establishing the relationships. The teasing part of that communication (Bree, Eve) is almost unmatched across all AVNs.
This game is deeply flawed but still on a very short list of best VNs I’ve ever played.
The Good:
Best-rendered VN I’ve ever seen, certainly among those set in conventional reality. Though many technicalities are surely over my head, some obvious reasons are, some of the girls are absolutely stunning, the backgrounds are top notch, the use of light is great, and there are a high number of unique and varied renders per scene.
This is also the most wildly refreshing VN I’ve ever played for a number of reasons, some of which might change to a degree: 1) Though there are some attractive older women and mild exhibitionism here, the story’s virtually kink-free to date. I enjoy loads of kinks, including darker ones, but I find this relatively wholesome central cast to be an absolutely delightful change of pace. 2) For people like me who appreciate “conventionally beautiful” women, this is your jam. Not every character is going to fit that description exactly, but nobody looks like they’re trying to win the prize for most hideous aesthetic. 3) There’s a wonderful “slice of life” quality here, meaning there seems to be a developing plot, but it might be even better if there weren’t, as simply watching these characters go about their daily lives is entertainment enough.
There’s also some great humor sprinkled throughout, and the spelling/grammar/punctuation/etc. are extraordinarily sound.
The Mixed:
Sexiest VN I’ve ever played, though there is astonishingly little sexual content three years in. If you can’t be happy until the clothes come off, this game might not be for you, but you might want to give it a try anyway. Personally, I could go to any random render in any random scene and have about an 80% chance of being turned on. I do imagine lots of sex is on the way, but this game is the epitome of slow burn. With some glaring exceptions noted below, the writing is also quite good in regard to situations and dialogue. Notably, gallery scenes are variously labeled “Intimate,” “Lewd,” and/or “Sexual,” and ideal readers will appreciate all three.
The animations are some of the best and worst I’ve ever seen. NFG is a master of small, slow, subtle, and delicate movements, but they are sadly incapable of animating deep, hard, animalistic sex. To make matters worse, females consistently go crazy when timidly fucked by MC or even when slightly touched by him, so there’s an awful discrepancy between dialogue and on-screen action. This best-worst duality is perhaps most noticeable where breasts are concerned. It’s beautiful how breasts sometimes move subtly when a girl simply breathes, but don’t hold out any hope for tits flopping around wildly when a girl’s getting banged. Not gonna happen.
The Bad:
Do you ever fantasize about being a giant fucking pussy? If yes, welcome to heaven. MC has a wildly inconsistent personality, and sometimes he’s quite bold, but more often he suffers from a profound lack of assertiveness. This results in MC: 1) failing to make intimate advances, even when a wildly attractive girl is openly begging for it, 2) not only failing to call bitches out when they pull absurd shit, leaving him (and readers) blue-balled, but worsening the situations by going into simp mode, 3) telling a girl he doesn’t want to “pressure her” when she’s the one making bold moves on his pathetic ass, and 4) consistently failing to stand up for himself and others in non-sexual situations amidst much mistreatment, sometimes including profound abuse, usually in cases where he fails to realize he has the upper hand.
Also, the number of unforgivably stupid plot points is incredibly high.
In addition, there are two unavoidable characters I can’t stand. One of your teachers who exercises a lot of control over your pathetic ass is an unrelenting asshole. Meanwhile, one of your housemates and potential love interests is an ugly, self-absorbed bitch. She could be a lot prettier with a good makeover and a better personality, but that’s not the world MC lives in. As much as possible, I fast-forward through scenes involving these two, but this causes me to lose track of the scintillating plot. Deal with these two however you must.
SUPERB!

The setting, the background of the story; the secondary characters, the phone and its applications, the real quality of rendering and image, the aesthetics... everything is there!
YES but here it is.... too few adult scenes (no control option) or too short, or too naive at times like some action choices. Photographer yes but ultimately not so much because the MC does not take group photos, of everyone; in the club, he does not even think to talk about it, integrating this possibility into a free roam would be a big plus....
We feel that there is a plot but it takes forever to get going, too long. Or the chapters are not long enough. A huge inconsistency to correct: how after opening the envelope full of money the MC just manages to hide it without even talking to Kate? Either he keeps it for himself or he gives it back right away the rest is incongruous and throws everything into disarray! It's really a shame because the girls are excellently done, beautiful and interesting. Unless there's a very very long sequel to restore rhythm and content, I even wonder if this game will go all the way! I dare to hope so because there is gold in this VN which can easily become one of the TOP 5! Honestly I have become a fan of Bree, Sophie, Mina, Kat and her sister and Eve, they deserve to survive!
summer heat, despite a few minor flaws, is among the best visual novels. The characters are beautiful, with depth and well-developed personalities. The protagonist is neither shallow nor foolish or spoil. The sound effects are nearly flawless. The dating app in mc mobile- ember- feature adds to the novel's appeal. i like that very much. There is sufficient story development, and overall, everything reflects the significant effort invested in it. good work devs
Visuals: The graphics are the best in the genre and the animations look stunning. The models are unique and frankly breathtaking. Together with good sound effects the visuals enable a high degree of player immersion.
Story: The story has a decent amount of mystery and keeps the reader engaged beyond the visuals. It is not far enough advanced as of the current update (0.6.1.) to really assess this much further. Characters have their own motivations which seem plausible so far. Of course, the ladies are much more forthcoming than IRL but that is part of the genre. Reliability and branching are not on par with the best in the genre, but this could still be further developed as the story progresses.
Pr0n: Very high quality. Touches a nerve. Does both wild cougar and girl next door chemistry very well and convincingly. Also, the photographer mechanic adds a nice touch.
Overall: One of the best AVNs on this site. Absolutely worth a download. Will probably buy it at full release.
The release schedule is not very quick but at this level of quality that is something I can live with.
Its more a slower building up, but it sets up the story, not great (I think) if you're looking for a quick fap, but its great if you're looking for a story.
I'm looking forward to more updates on this
Edit: As I forgot to mention, the up close shots of the characters is actually really well done, I haven't seen a vn that does up close shots and art style just like this. However the creator is doing it, he/she is doing something right.
I need to give this game 5 stars, there's no other way. It's not without a flaw but it is by far the best looking AVN I've ever seen. Nothing comes even close to its renders IMO. People making this clearly have background in photography and the way the work with light makes this feel AAA at times. Like some of those renders could be key arts for games with 100M budget, it's that good.
It's a relatively slowburn game, with many sweet and romantic scenes which combined with the stellar visuals makes for an experience that honestly fucks with my brain and heart a little. I find myself thinking about the girls and there's a hole in my soul that nothing but the next update can fill.
There are 3 flaws worth mentioning.
I think there could be more music, some scenes are silent and it's a shame. Ended up playing Being a DIK soundtrack in the background, worked wonders.
The release schedule seems rather slow, it's been in the making for almost 3 years now and honestly I can't stop but wonder if it wasn't possible to have twice as much content by now. On the other hand the level of quality for the renders is through the roof so... Conflicted on this.
The pacing could be better, but I think that's connected to the slow release schedule. I bet if you play this all at once in 5 years it will feel right.
Excellent game. The girls are gorgeous, the renders are terrific and the story is bearable, (unlike many of these games). The ending left me wanting more and and I look forward to the next game update.
I thought it was terrific, the way the Dev used facial expressions to portray the characters emotions. I often found myself just staring at the rendered faces of these beautiful models. Real quality.
This is more story driven then a mindless sex orgy. So don't expect to see the
stud pounding away at each girl the moment he meets them. Actually, the very first sex scene, which comes rather early on, made little sense to me. It was random and felt out of place in the context of what happens later on.
Towards the middle of the game the sexy stuff starts to happen, as the story starts to develop and as the MC learns more about the Girls. The sex animations are not earth shattering, but nicely done. The characters body textures are also very nice, which IMO is super important in these games. Texture and lighting is what creates a quality image.
If you want to see beautifully rendered woman and experience a decent story, then I highly recommend this game.
I like the story its pretty much an all out vanilla one and with some kind of twist at some point im guessing, MC and 2 of hes friends, plus a few other females goes to a teachers house do to extra credits for school, MC can ofc hit on everything that moves but the great part is that nothing is forced and you pick who you want, its also refreshing that its not a harem game even though i played like one which will most defently hit me in the back at some point, where i will have to restart the game, but thats my own faulth.
Cant say there much sex in it yet theres a little but not much and not enough if your looking for a porn game, atleast not yet.
Game has freeroams which are fine, nothing to them really since you just click an error 4 times and talk with people in each scene and then it goes back to the normal VN style.
Girls are hot and i do love their faces, builds are a bit meh to me since i dont have a big tit fetish and its mostly big tits and 0 small ones, so it limits who i want to go after which is fine in a none harem game, i went for the red head since i liked her character and has proberly the most normal tits of all.
Animations are lacking both in quality and quantity, most sex scenes has very little animated and some nothing at all.
Theres not much in the way of music but mostly just sound effects.
It dosent really have replayability to try out diffrent LIs since doing it once and you will have seen the hole story already and the LIs dont really have much in the way of sidestories and whats there you learn on one playthrough.
Im still going to rate this 5 even though its really more of a 4
It's not harem and need to choose. Renders and girls are very top shelf quality. I could fall in love with all the choices. Not sure how long this message needs to be. I just want to give it 5 stars.
I can say that this is the best game I have played on this site so far. The story is very original, intriguing. It has a plot that involves the player and choice dialogues. The animations and visuals are very, very good. It's 3 am, I should be in bed but I'm still playing this game. I hope it reaches the full version.
Summer Heat (very reminiscent of Being A Dik and Interwined) is a very good dating sim with 5 main LIs and several other sexual options within the story. All the ladies, except one (sorry, not sorry Helen) are very pleasing to look at, and there's a fair amount of sexual/intimate/lewd content involving said female cast (some more than others for obvious reasons). As much as the ladies are incredibly attractive, which is what baited me in, their emerging/established dynamics and varied personalities are what kept me going through Summer Heat from start to finish. The tense friendship between Sophie and Bree is my favorite so far.
The MC is a faceless protagonist, but not a quiet one. He's reasonable, not an asshole nor spoiled rotten by the females that are attracted to him. You are given quite a lot of choices interacting with the cast as a whole and the environment at large, which caught me by surprise but is a welcomed sight. There are a few selections that lead to the same outcome anyway, but others are more deceptive as Summer Heat love using subtilties within the character's dialogue and facial expressions to either inform the audience of the characters' approval or refusal. Yes, you will have to choose between the LIs A LOT. Nevertheless, your actions do have consequences, some more significant then others.
My only complaint with the narrative of Summer Heat, or in general is the Mr. Miller/Shawn guy. Miller is untrustworthy, and is hardly interested in the art camp or the students in general, but the MC keeps getting stuck with him and we, the players, have no one way of denying being around him. I understand he's our gateway to getting to know many of the inhabitants of the town of Rosewood, but like Helen, I wish to avoid the trouble he brings entirely. I'm trying to enjoy my time with Mia and/or Sophie as much as I can.
Either way, Summer Heat is well worth the time, and I would gladly recommend this project by Northpx to anyone. In addition, I forgot to mention, the story is nicely paced as not too much time is spent on dragging out one scene/conversation like other AVNs that come to mind.

On one hand, I am happy that I played it, on the other I do not believe it will ever be finished. I do not know what the release schedule is but it landed on this website in 2022.
Two years later we still only teasing with the girls. Two sex scenes with some randos. This game is one of the best on this site, but it is a Patreon Milker.

If you want to make a proper milker game, every six-month release update with one of the girls' stories completed this includes all sex scenes all the way vaginal and anal (everything). Then introduce a few more characters while finishing the main girls one by one. Once you are done with the main ones you work on side girls.
That is how you keep the respect of the community and continue to get funded.
Even better finish games quickly and make new ones. I always check a person's history before considering supporting them. But thats hard and we get what we can get.
I want to like this game, it has a lot of good qualities, but unfortunately I cannot.
This should be a slice of life game, unfortunately there is a "plot" - I say "plot" because 6 chapters and nearly 3 years later we still dont know anything about what the plot is, other than a shady character who attends a basement in a strip club. This should be focused solely on the art camp, whatever the dev is going for is far too ambitious, and even if the development speed could handle the scope would likely fall flat.
This should be great because the renders are excellent, the characters are well written and have unique voices, and there are plenty of player choices. Unfortunately there are far too many characters, which has led to a scenario where there is minimal content and progress with any of the characters. Unless the development speed increases exponentialy, there is no way any of the character paths will be completed in a satisfactory manner, if at all.
2* for now - maybe a year from now the scope gets more narrow and there is enough progress to rate higher. For now, this is basically a giant teaser of a game that should be great
A great game, I especially like the main girls (Bree, Sophie, Eve, Mia), but there are side girls which are quite good too. Renders are amazing, with a few great animations too. The story is interesting, while it's still in the setup part as of 0.6.1 it looks promising. I wish there were more music though, sometimes it feels too quiet.
This game isn't perfect: LIs pacing is weird; you have Sophie - a super conservative girl, who nearly jumps at you at the first occassion and then her friend, who is clearly more liberal and all you got from her is a kiss. There are few more irrational pacings... The main story is a bit chaotic and some things are out of place...The music is okay...
So why the hell did I give it 5 stars? I can't quite explain, but the feeling this game gives you is unique. Lack of music and the complete silence mixed with singular sound effects in some places together with great renders, well-developed characters, emotions shown in every gaze and smile, dialogues which go from goofy to deep - all this builds an atmosphere I haven't seen before in any of the AVNs.
And just like that this game jumped into top 4 for me. I really recommend this game
'Summer Heat' is one of the VERY FEW games where I actually read every line of dialogue and don't just skip to the sex scenes. Everything about this VN is beautiful: the characters, their personalities, the art design, and the environments. I find the story and dialogue to be very intriguing. Very much looking forward to future updates.
Only one complaint; as silly as it is to complain about.
In reality a 3.5/5, but no half stars so its closer to a 3. I really, really, really want to love this game. The girls have unique personality's, their models are distinct and attractive, and interacting with them makes me want to do separate playthroughs for all of them, not just one or two like other games. The setting is also somewhat unique to other school/college based avns, being an art focused seminar in a shared house. I also enjoy the photography aspect. Now onto the negatives. The main point is that I am beginning to get frustrated by the pacing of this game, We have made real progress with exactly 1 of the love interests, the rest have been barely more than flirting, and one bad offender being Bree's route, which almost has repeat scenes with how the teasing, and almost doing something but stopping at the last second. Their also is the issue of the main plot. There is not a real driver, or stakes, or anything to really get invested in. The MC can get annoying at times, and seems to lack much agency making it hard to project yourself onto him. Now, I know that this an adult visual novel, and stories can take a back seat to the sex scenes, but this game lacks many sex scenes to compensate for the weaker plot. At the moment, it feels like the demo of a dating simulator without any real content for the girls, but this game has been in development for more than two years now. To the devs, I am being critical because I feel like this game has a huge amount of potential, and I am going to keep an eye on it and keep checking out the latest releases, but I sincerely hope that a change is made to make the releases more satisfying. I will raise my rating should that happen, but otherwise, I feel this a 7/10.
