Review for Summer Holidays v1.0:
Overall: 2.5/5 - This game just feels like it was developed with bare minimal effort, or developed by a robot, like somebody asked ChatGPT to create a vanilla adult visual novel.
Renders/Art: 3/5 - Excellent character models. The background art is blurry and, in most renders, the characters are just sprites that aren't posed with the background.
Animations: 3/5 - Animations are short loops without much movement, and they aren't very smooth, but they fit in OK with the art style. Almost all of the blowjob animations look like the AI-CG messed up and the girl's tongue is merged with the glans of the MC's penis. It's really weird looking. There's other AI weirdness, too.
Story: 2/5 - There is practically no story here. MC is home alone in his parents' house for the summer. Every girl he encounters is hot and they instantly want to fuck him. Generally, lack of a good story isn't really that bad for a porn game, but in this case, it doesn't look like the developer even tried to create a story. It looks more like he started with some images and tried to create the least amount of story to link them together.
Writing: 2/5 - The English translation is enough to get all of the meaning, but it's still poor and just awkward to read. I found myself trying to read really fast just to get it over with. Strangely, the names of the girls are frequently spelled differently from one sentence to the next (e.g. Anna/Anya, Liza/Lisa, Mari/Marie). There was apparently no effort put into the English translation of the writing. I assume it was done by a machine, too.
Content: 3/5 - There are 4 girls with a couple of lewd scenes each. There is almost no build-up since the MC has sex with each girl the 3rd time they meet. The lewd content isn't really that hot and all of the scenes with the different girls follow the same pattern of poses and dialog. The scenes feel rushed. There are also a lot of renders in the lewd content where the dialogue/narration doesn't match the visual.
Gameplay: 2/5 - About 90% of the choice screens have just one choice. Why even bother? The choice screens that have multiple choices really don't affect anything other than the order that the MC does things. It's a waste of time for this game to even have choices. This could've been 5/5 gameplay just by making it a kinetic novel.
