Unity - Completed - Summer Sweepers [v10d] [Impy]

The game's quite good and simple enough to grasp basics, like trading one kind of resurce for another so you may progress that map you're on.

I actually like the art - a lot. It's something completely diffrent from usual things you seen when you're looking around and it sparks joy. I like characters designs and I'm pleasently surprised that author even decided to add a plump girl - in nice and actually pretty cure proportions of course - since almost anything you see nowadays is basically a stickgirl with tits bigger than her head.

This game made me arm myself with a notebook I have under hand when I need to scribble down something and start drawing floor sets to progress the game. I rarely do that so it is actually quite fun to play.

Actual sex scenes are pretty interesting since it's a real vouyer's dream, being unable to hear nothing but single words out of conversation it makes it more interesting.

However, this is also where I'd like to adress author for some work. Namely, how to get to those sex scenes, maybe some sort of a 'relationship' status to look at. How do you progress the sex scenes? Do you spend turns on map and let characters interact with each other? Or do you have to do it like 1-3 times and just finish a mission? It's probably the biggest mystery of this game and I'd love for it to be somehow explained and shown so it's easy to progress and I don't spend a few days on one map trying to farm 'affection' when it doesn't even matter. So, PLEASE, explain that one.

So this is a charming little NTR-themed puzzle game loosely based on Minesweeper game rules.

What I liked:

- The partially-randomized level layouts add to the replayability.
- Having to eavesdrop on the characters, only being able to read the occasional word clearly and the rest being gibberish, gives the game a bit of a voyeuristic feel appropriate for NTR.
- The NTR events spawn semi-randomly as the characters move around the levels and during the intermission at the adventurers' guild. As any cultured NTR enjoyer will tell you, uncertainty and anticipation add to the experience.
- Semi-linear level selection, including secondary characters that can be "stolen".

What I disliked:

- It's a puzzle game with strong aspects of memorization and trial & error. Savescumming is effective and encouraged.
- Most of the gameplay comes down to harvesting one item, then trading it for another item, then trading that for another, etc. It's fun once you figure out the order of actions you're supposed to take, but sucks the first time you attempt a level. Or the second or third etc. if you've forgotten what you're supposed to do.
- I had quite a bit of repetition of NTR events. It wasn't clear what player actions made the NTR paths progress. Mission completion? Viewing the NTR scenes repeatedly? The number of times the "stealer" meets the girl in the level, regardless of whether you see the event or not? The scenes in the guild? Either way, I found myself hunting down those NTR scenes during a level (at the expense of turns) only to see the same NTR event for the 2nd or 3rd time.
- The events can get in the way of actually playing the levels. And not just the NTR stuff I'd want to see, but also things like characters bathing in a river, and that persists throughout the game.

YMMV:

- There's a futa character, the MC's sister, if you're into that. And also apparently a cyborg or something.
- There's a persistent scoring system that allows you to select perks on susequent playthroughs so you can get farther and see more of the content. Whether it's a good thing that you're kind of not supposed to see everything you want on the first run is up to you. What would be really neat is if one of those perks let you read the full dialogues that you're eavesdropping on.

This one goes to my favorite NTR games the girls not beeign rape and falling just because they like sex is just the best! i would like to see more characters and develope some others relationships and expand the island and the events

really hot game man, keep it up!!, would love some full on scenes and maybe some way to read all the text with enough stars i would love to see what they're saying and talking about. just a suggestion but you do you. Good luck i'll be following this

I want to rate it 5/5 on the premise that you cheat, adding days by changing the savefile. I personally gave myself 180 days by adding a zero to the number of days which let me not worry as I go through. Editing the savefile is super easy as long as you know enough to find where it is. The values are plaintext and clearly marked so it's like 3 seconds of work to change the file.

This is an ntr game with mostly indirect smut. If you're the kind of person who needs direct visuals as compared to being able to enjoy the idea and guesswork of what's going on then you probably won't enjoy the content that is here. This'll probably be one of my favorites overall once it gets more content.

Great NTR game

You take the role as a young virgin man who's completely oblivious to the pleasures casual sex. And you are on a trip with 2 loveinterests who immediately fall for a much more mature warrior guy who helps your group out.

the puzzles are a bit rng'y and difficult to solve within timeframes consistently.
Characters are sexy in each their own way and the island itself is mysterious and interesting.

Absolutely amazing game.

If you're only able to jerk off to pictures and not an idea then this might not be for you at this point but the game is still in devellopement right now so I'm sure the smut part will grow a lot very soon.

The NTR aspect is done exactly how I'd want it to be. You can only control the "protagonist" and are obscured from hearing complete conversations, only making you able to guess what is going on while at a later point you can see yet still not completely hear the interactions.

Artwork is cute and pretty nice, the characters sound fun and despite the (for now) little interactions you have with them during the course of the game they still feel pretty real IF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY READ AND NOT JUST SKIP THROUGH IT FOR PORN.

Can't wait for more versions to be released and got better at minesweeper after some attempts.

horrible waste of time if youre here for the porn. the art is so good yet the sex scene is tiny pictures for ants with no dialogue. i was expecting a full on picture like rpgmaker games at least where you can see a whole artwork of the sex scene.

boring gameplay (minesweeper, really?) and wasted art talent with barely any porn/sex. avoid this game

First i'll list my grievances.

~1. Requires knowledge on how to play minesweeper. (the game doesn't give a full explanation)

~2. The characters move around on their own but what I don't think works is that they can freely move into tiles you haven't discovered yet and disappear from your view, if they couldn't do that than it would help speed up the start of missions which are arguably too slow.

~3. Mission requirements are always "1 day and 35 turns remaining" which gets annoying and tedious when you're getting really bad RNG. I don't think anyone really enjoys games that are purely based off RNG in the first place so more leeway would be good.

I would like to state that I LOVE this kind of artstyle and that my rating is purely for the the gameplay. As for the kinks i'm impartial to NTR and I like that there's a futa character (haven't progressed far enough to meet her yet thou) but from what i've seen the sexual content is really lacking overall.

Ultimately I think it's way too much effort on the players part for too little fan service.

While I do think the game is a bit too hard, boy is it rare to find a fun ero game. You could remove the porn, and I think the concept game play would still be good. (the porn does help tho.) Make an easy mode for us scrubs lol

Cute art and interesting take on the whole "minesweeper" concept, not what I imagined after reading discription of the game, coz well, it doesn't say much(or anything at all). So I figured I'll write review on my opinion about game mechanics and such.

First of all, the difference from normal minesweeper is that the MC and all NPC move around the map and to open the tile you need to get near it first.

To interact with NPC you need to be on the same tile(they move around the map, so catching them can take few turns, also game has a great mechanic which keeps them in place if you are choosing to move in the same tile they are on), gameplay is made so that you can ask any NPC to use their abilities to help you reach mission objective, among them are scouting(opens one-two tiles near the choosen destination of NPC, yes, they need to walk to the tile first before using it), harvesting, combat and others. After using ability NPC goes into cooldown mode where you can't request them to do anything.

As I mentioned before NPC move around through save tiles and while moving through event tiles (tiles which have enviroment where an event can happen) sometimes an event starts, if MC reaches that tile before it ends he will be able to "see" what happens there. NPC never move to hostile tiles, so they exist pretty much only to trip MC(every mission has turn counter which shows how many turns you have to finish mission, every move costs 1, and every mistake of choosing wrong tile costs 10)

Well that's pretty much how everything works, hope it will be helpful. Now to my personal opinion:

From the mechanics I didn't like it's that NPC can move through safe tiles you didn't open, while it can be helpful sometimes to figure out where a safe tile is, it feels that's the only reason MC plays minesweeper is because he wasn't given a proper map and nobody wants to share what they know(the dream team level teamwork right here).

The game is pretty challenging if you try to earn stars(not sure what they do, and if they do anything at all besides adding to achivements, didn't play far, could be nice if gathering them opened new content thought). I'm no fan of NTR or voyeurism so the whole concept of "MC works his ass off while everyone else is having fun while occasionally helping" is not for me(inability to join the fun is quite offputting). Not sure how the whole rival thing is going to work when the only thing MC can do is watch since he always appear from the wrong side of the "wall".

Oh right, I read Apo_Icarus's review and I don't see why futa can't be also love interest, expecially with all that nun and little brother thing.

Anyway, good luck to the dev with this project.

Novel take on games. concept and art works well together. Interesting gameplay combining minesweepers and random events happening. I spent 2 hours playing around with it yesterday and was hooked. Looking forward to see how this develops. Will be keeping a close eye on it.

A really great game.

The game play is really good and have depth in it, and it's still pretty simple to understand. Yes, there's a porn part, of course, but even without it, the game would still be enjoyable, and that's what make it great.

For the porn part though, it's pretty good (yes, it's NTR, and it's warned, so if it's not for you, skip it and don't come to complain ^^). But it's kinda weird to understand how the scene s can evolve.

But it bring to the biggest problem of the game (in my opinion, of course) : the limited time. After a certain number of days, the game stop, and that's all. If you haven't gone through all the scene, you just have to start over (with a few bonus though). But honestly i don't know if I'll have the motivation to go through it once again. But overall, this is still a minor default though, nothing terrible. Another small default is the speed of the "dialogues", which are pertty slow to my taste and really kill the speed of the game.

But overall a really nice idea, and nicely done ! I really hope to see it with more content and those small problems fixed, but really great job to the dev (and yeah, it's 4 stars cause it can still be improved, but it's really awesome !).

Unique style and I've never seen such an unusual approach to a game. And minesweeper of all things! Didn't think I'd ever play Minesweer again since the early 2000!

Might be slightly biased since it was my request and I'm supporting on subscribestar but so far it's early days. Version numbering goes 1,2, 3, 4 you get the picture.

The game does feature NTR and is based on that. However there will be events with the MC too (I think, let me confirm that with her), so from my perspective and it's just my opinion I think it's intended as more of a netorase or swinging game than full blown NTR. The dev is open to suggestions anyway but yes it

So far, the game will feature two rivals: Ram a warrior who clears tiles of bandits and beasts and your futanari nun sister who clears tiles of undead. The dev is leaning towards leaving these two as the only rivals, I don't know if there will be a 3rd. HOWEVER I can confirm MORE LOVE INTERESTS will be coming and there are date events in town coming too.

The game is essentially minesweeper, but with a slow build up with the girls, same with the rivals. Now from my perspective playing from version 2 to 4, I get the sense that there is no animosity there in the party that much and it's just a bit of fun on the field. It's designed for multiple playthroughs where you can unlock stars that purchase help such as skipping the firs 3 quests or starting with items, or extra days/ turns etc etc.

Fio is the more portly blonde mage girl and Espy is the thinner elf girl. There is also Miwi, a tough warrior in an ant battlesuit (I don't know...dont ask).

Content is sparse in this version as it's early days but what art there is is drawn wonderfully, wait till you get a certain event with Abigail on a burrow tile (Abigails arse is certainly divine!) Anyway, I do recommend it but if you don't like NTR or futa you wouldn't like it.
