hey i start playing summer vacation scrumble on my laptop it went smooth even though the frames is dropping i think around 3-5 frames per sec it mostly was freezing towards loading screen so i wonder if everyone knows the answer why

It loads characters everytime you change maps, and if you're using mods, those character accesories consume RAM

This game will be hard to run after a while on lower-end PCs since they didn't optimize it well enough.
meanwhile with stronger PCs with specs like:

>AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS (3.8GHz) Processor
>16GB DDR5-5600 RAM
>NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Graphics Card
>1TB PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD

you won't feel much or any of the performance drops with vanilla accessories.

I've downloaded the BetterRepack one, and went to update the game with the new character addon pack from Nyaa, now my game cannot open. Anyone knows how to fix this?

yep, that's modern "optimization" unfortunately. but even then, that's just a higher-end example, this game can run comfortably with even 20-30 series cards and older gen CPUs (I ran this decently with a 1060m and 7th gen CPU at 1080p). If it doesn't, then something's wrong with the PC; unless you've been playing for a few in-game days straight, then everyone start having issues at some point.

Consider trying to start the game multiple times and restarting your PC and trying again if you haven't. I had times where the game would crash at launch despite not modifying anything it it. Hopefully it's nothing. Worst case the variants aren't compatible, maybe a mod in the repack conflicts or something.

If by decently you mean 30fps at best in lowest possible settings at 720p or lower then yeah I can see that happening(edit: assuming you are playing with max characters).

Usually my old PC was able to run at 40~ at 1080p with 24 nearly max accessory characters on screen, and that was only with vanilla stuff.
I also think the animated accessories like the goddess stuff can drop performance a little more, but I don't have lower-end stuff to really test it anymore...

SVS and HC cards only share most of character looks data, the rest (character likes etc.) is different, thus you need to create characters separately.

I have a fresh install, and cannot install the personality DLC. It says "file is missing". I saw others had this problem, but did anybody find a solution?
