This is the issue with Ocean's army of mindless white knights. You refuse to even see the problems with this jumbled mess of a game, let alone acknowledge them.

SanchoMod - Unmodded Ch5Beta Patch File Fix
(for those getting exception error right before the beginning of Ch5's content)

This is intended for those who won't be using the pending SanchoMod update (meaning you are playing unmodded).

I've obviously made hundreds of fixes to the patch for the mod so far but this "unmodded" fix doesn't resolve any of those... this just let's you get to Ch5 and fixes that one issue only. If you want all of my fixes you'll have to wait for me to finish the mod update. Fair enough? Good.

Installation: Copy the extracted content of the zip inside the VN's "/game" folder.
Uninstall: Simply delete the file... no harm, no foul.

If not, then I have some bad news for you. If you are a looking for a games without any (vaginal) sex, then you are on a wrong site.

Of course I was serious. Love is in the heart. And I can hardly recall other games here at F95 as crisp and deep depicting feelings, apart from Leap of Faith and maybe Intertwined and just a few others. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against sex per se, but cute boobies of Nami, her face etc are much more fappable for me than some dick movement animations that are considered "sex scenes" in many other games. It's just ridiculous that some people complain they saw too little dick. Ugh.

To clarify, I might try to be humorous sometimes and misunderstood (often) but I love this game. It's real art, not just fan service like 97.5% of others.

I am not very talkative on this site, but these comments are completely driving me crazy.
This is one of THE BEST story-based game that exists in VN genre. There is also DrPinkCake, but those are two different creators, with different vision and completely different games, so it would be inappropriate to compare them. Also there is OrbOrigins, but this is my personal top, his game is not very popular around here.

If you just want to fap, check out the dev notes, and don't play the game. The story itself is very unique and fascinating. There are only few VN games, that actually made me FEEL things, and this is one of them. I don't care if it takes 6-12 months to update, if the content itself is top-tier. Yes, it is sad, that it takes so long to make it, but quality is more important than quantity. Moreover, if you don't pay for the content, it's inappropriate to criticize, meaningless, even.

The author has his vision of the game, so those comments, about him being ineffective, wasting money on buying music, and rendering in 4k60 -- are unasked. It is very easy to criticize, when you haven't done anything remotely close to what the author did. You can't even imagine, how many hours and sleepless nights he spent searching for music that fits, creating scenes, recreating, completely destroying and rebuilding it.

I just want to wish the Oceanlab to finish the game, sooner than later, preferably, but that is out of my control. One day these kind of games will gain the popularity it deserves, and the creators will get the money and tools to bring their ideas and vision into life within the reasonable timeframe.

I started a new game after finishing this chapter, a lot of scenes had been reworked and add more renders along the way. For the better most of the time, for example new scenes like how Ayua pinned down MC after knowing him triggered Bella during first project meeting. But I simply couldn't understand the removal of gunshot at the introduction and all the MC's dick scenes LOL.

Man I've played so many versions of this I can't even be sure of what scene it is or even if the scene exists anymore but yeah the MC is a virgin and so is Nami. He mentions he never went all the way with Summer. And it is also implied in convos with Nami.

Still his lack of experience doesn't really make the scene make sense imo. But others may have a different perspective. All I see is the MC explicitly thinking he wants to address Bella's horniness but doing nothing to help her out.

Maybe it's a me problem. Maybe I really can't relate to the game. When I was 17 I was cuddling naked with a girl who straight up wasn't ready for sex. Neither of us were experienced at all. She was horny. She came from rubbing herself on my thigh. I didn't have to do shit and she didn't leave frustrated. Go figure.

Imma stop giving Ocean shit. The game isn't improving imo but its still a good game. Maybe he ends up having an epiphany someday and makes it great. We'll see.

One problem that makes Summer's Gone difficult to play. I will say right away that this opinion is subjective and may differ for others.
The game involves continuous reading of text and viewing pictures without interruption. Considering the size of the project, and the fact that the game will be even larger, this is very difficult. Yesterday, during run of Ep.5, I had to pause twice for a cigarette - take a break from reading. Same as when reading a book. Actually, the game is an interactive book.
In my opinion, a good solution would be to diversify the gameplay. What we've seen in some of the other big AVNs - interactive phone, free-roams, collectibles. Don’t turn this into absolutism, as in the last episode of one very popular game with a huge party, where everything is a big free-roam, but diversify the gameplay a little. It really helps take your mind off things and makes the game more intense.

I´m not agreed, i think it´s precisely the absence of freeroam that makes sepecial this game (and other things), i usually like games with freeroam (like BaD) but i think in SG this would be a bad idea, becouse for me it´s like stop the story and remove the drama, but this is only for me .

About the interactive phone Ocean is working on it so we will have this function, and in this i´m very agreed with you, an interactive phone is essential for a game where characters are in the university and for a game where the dev is trying to show us realism.

What he does with Nami? Holding her breasts? Wow, he does it with Bella too. He even kisses her, you know. Nami is the only person he trusts without any doubt. He can trust his life to her. ONLY. She is the only person from his previous carefree life. You can't compare her to any other girl in this game.


What kind of love you want? They basically know each other for a week or something. The story hasn't progressed to the point, where you can see "love" towards a girlfriend. There are scenes with Nami though. And, again, if you can't relate, understand, or find those scenes, this game isn't just for you. You don't have the right mindset for it. 'Cause, you know, people minds are actually work different, and you can't feel something that someone else can, because you are not him. And vice-versa.
