First of all, I will give you a huge kudos for this patch. I was one of the people who rushed to the incest patch (The first one.) and I was extremely disappointed when I found out that it didn't work. I didn't know that the patch was 26k lines of code, and I can completely respect the undertaking that this patch might've taken.

I used this patch on the latest 0.1.5.2 version and thus far it seems to work with my previous saves (Strangely the saves that I had remaining from 0.1.5.1 still loaded up nicely and events seem to be triggering, but I haven't played it for too long so don't know if this now has some game breaking bugs because i used my old saves in conjunction with this patch.

The image that are supposed to be placed in the game folder, they don't overwrite anything for me. In the mc locked the note says Deb and not mom. I am not very good at these things, but I am not sure where they should go? Other images is the same case like the menu that says it's modded. Can someone tell me where these should go, as putting them in the game folder didn't work for me.

Which patch are you using? The one on the main page... or did you also copy over the more recent incest_patch.rpy that had more fixes in it?

I'm not sure about the original patch, but I can confirm that using the patch with the updated rpy file, and then copying and renaming the file as that other comment says does fix the problem.

Also, did you apply the patch over 0.15.1 or 0.15.2? I'm not sure it matters for that image or not... but I haven't tried anything with 0.15.2 yet. All of this is based on the 0.15.1 release as nobody has specifically made sure the patch worked with 0.15.2 yet.

On a side note... Honestly the patch is almost unusable at the moment. You can certainly play it, but at least for me and some others here it makes the game intermittently freeze and be very slow and laggy in general. The game works perfectly fine without the patch.

Your mileage may vary of course.

I used the original patch on the main page, and I am playing the 15.1. It is working well enough, except with a missing background with the aunt and the locker thing. Nothing to bad so far, I did try the new patch as well but I think it wasn't working so I used the old one. Did the original patch slow down computers as well or just the second one?

I tried to continue the game on v0.15.2 but the patch resets the progress with the mother.

I've updated the patch for v0.15.1 with all the bugfixes reported and a fuck-ton (for those using the metric system, that's a lot) that were not, including adding a copy of the locker image with the _day added to the zip. Thanks very much to @verte123 @DreadMervin @Tural and @Yellabelly for posting their fixes as I have shamelessly stolen them.

I agree with @aereton and @phreadom that there are still significant bugs with the latest version v0.15.2 of the game, as well as the performance issues with the patch.

Here's the Plan: I'm going to start rewriting this thing from scratch to address performance issues and make it compatible with future updates. More details are below in the spoiler if you give a shit.

I am waiting for the release of v0.15.3 to fix the shovel issue and others before I release a new version of the patch. FYI - @ikaruga

A thought about your patch method: Ren'py has multilanguage support.
I think it should be possible and efficient if this feature is "repurposed" for the text part of such a patch... In a way it would add simply a "alternate english" (or others) with the replacement text. Changed images would simply be as fresher variants added and renpy uses them anyway automatic because this fact.

Edit: I did a little light reading and some questioning on it and its even more easy as i thought. The translation only needs the actually replaced text lines, other can be ignored. Way too easy with ren'py.x'D

Much obliged at all of the work you're putting into this bossapplesauce. It seems like a huge commitment both time and energy wise, however, and something that should, if not in part, fall on the actual dev's shoulders. Especially given how much money he's raking in monthly on his endeavor, of which the original premise is now compromised.
