That's what I've been saying, DC keeps bloating the game and perpetuates development, doesn't necessarily mean he's doing it to milk, but adding loose ends on the pile of unfinished content is noteworthy.
The Patreon incest ban is a non-argument that holds no merit whatsoever. He keeps using it even though that argument has proven to be worthless multiple times.
Yep, although that's not DC's fault, it's not a reliable statistic to base your argument on.

To be fair, DC was one of the very few people who was actually blocked by Patreon and had to give guarantees to be unblocked again. As such the family connections we've got now are the "best" Patreon allowed back then, while stepcest, for example, was explicitly not ok, as far as I'm aware.
That's certainly different compared to dudes who just release their stuff now and have never been caught in the first place. They'd get a second chance, DC probably wouldn't.
Patreon doesn't seem to care too much anymore, as long as it's not advertised on the main page, but in DC's case it's still risky, simply because he's been on notice. And let's face it, given the number of people with hate boners, there'd be enough reports, so Patreon might have another look.
Edit: FlyingPony: As to why there's not much more content for the family members? Quite simply because they never were supposed to get that much more in the first place. While the game features incest, the family characters were always meant to be a few among many others. It simply happend by chance/will of the patrons, that they were the first to get their updates.

Yeap, remember that whole debacle. Oh how many have fallen, fled or bent the knee when the ban was decreed. Big Brother, SS, Icstor's whole page and so many more.
Yet Jenny, Debbie and Diana still received some new content and sex scenes after the ban. But if I were in DC's shoes I too would be very careful playing with potential fire. So I don't really see the lack of incest content as egregious as some ppl on this forum do.
And that's alright, but there are too many of those other characters. The most core characters still didn't receive their deserved conclusions, yet there is still a constant influx of new faces, new plots and "checkhov's guns". You know, at some point I wanna see how the story ends and preferably before my children get to have their own children.

I know, I'm not arguing he should add the incest itself back in, I'm saying the incest-ban has nothing to do with what the OP said. As long as there are incest patches outside of the official game, Patreon doesn't have a reason to ban or penalize DC, otherwise he would've been banned already because there's obvious incest in the game guised only by "they're actually friends and totally not related at all".
The family are the first characters you interact with, they're the first characters to have had any lewd content when polling wasn't even a thing, the intro of the game pretty much states you have to be the man of the house because your father died and also get a prom date, the main quest revolves around finding out what happened to your dad who is family and is obviously related to Jenny and married to Debbie, IIRC Diane was the first to get a dedicated quest.
Sure, they were never meant to be the main focus of the game, but you can't say they don't play a fundamental role in the game.

The main story already ended. But it would be nice to have some of the quests that are already "done" to have some closure.

Yeah, as you say, I wouldn't even call it a lack of incest content in the first place. The game by now has the amount of incest content it is supposed to have. Jenny's content is just done, while Debbie will get a rework and pregnancy and Diane is supposed to get a few additions here and there.
To me it's really not such a big issue. Sure, the main story added too many of these characters, but it's not like they take thaaat much screen time and the main story updates certainly needed some girls. I doubt people would have been happy if DC had spent months of time on releasing an update that would have consisted of Raz, Dimitri, Igor and Jab.
These secondary/tertiary charaters are hard to judge in general, but I think game would be worse off if we didn't have characters like Odette, Liu, Tina, Maria, etc.
It's a fine line to walk and at least the main story certainly got closure, now that DC added the final scenes in these pre-tech updates and I think those who play the game in the future, won't mind them, either. They are honestly only "bad" for those who suffer now, because it takes time to finish the game.
The point I wanted to make is, that SS was never advertised as some kind of real incest game. So it's not like DC promised to develop something like SnowDaze, where MC fucks his family and that's it and ended up producing something entirely different. The game we get now is essentially what DC promised we'd get.
I mean, MC is a school boy who lives at home with his family, so it makes sense that this is where the game starts. Sure, it did play a (significant) role at first, but that doesn't mean that DC had to change his plans for the game, just because people liked some of these characters a lot at first. Jenny, Debbie are simply 2 among 8 main girls, while Diane is a strong secondary character like Maria, Mrs. Johnson, etc.

I would have loved it more if ideas, scenarios and set pieces from those character routes were used in a completely separate game. For example I would have loved to see Odette as one of the main characters in supernatural college life type of story. But that's mostly cuz I liked the character and wanted to see more of her.
IMO there is too much filler in SS. I know it's fun and some of it is so good that it becomes the highlight of the game but that's still a filler.
I guess that's just personal preference.
However, how I consume this content also plays a big role in my distaste toward all that bloat. Coming back to the game 3-4 years after a playthrough hoping to see what happens to Roxy, Mia and the family next, instead only to find them neglected and forgotten in favor of half a dozen of new faces.

What conclusions though ? Jenny's route was done ~4 years ago and she already has the most scenes in the game. Diane got 3+ updates now and is also mostly done. Debbie doesn't get voted for in polls, so will never get anything until she's pretty much the only 1 left for the remakes (and even if not that, it'll still be 3+ years before she'd get anything)
What happens to Mia, "the love of his life", the "high school crush" then? What happens to Roxy, "the detestable bully"? If in you playthrough you chase after both them how would they react when they find out? Debbie and Diana know that they are banging MC but Jenny doesn't. How Jenny finds out that he bangs the whole family?
By saying that 4 years ago Jenny's route was finished means that the most of premise has been resolved 4 years ago. And ever since that date it was all a "filler".

You're expecting wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much story development from this pron game ......... Mia needs her remake voted for, Roxxy's route is also done (even if you or other people get mad about it) and the "I'm in a harem but no1 knows about it" won't be addressed soon, if at all. So it's either the game isn't made for you or it's a you problem, they won't go back and redo/rewrite 4+ routes just so every angle possible is covered, especially not with 10+ remakes still waiting (which people are actually voting for, since there's no "let's redo all the routes once again just so we can have them interact with the fact they're all in a harem game")

I expect a game that I played 4 years ago to progress the characters that I've come to like all those years ago in the span of said 4 years. Instead you can practically divide the game in 2. Before Roxy route was "finished" and After. The difference is that After you will not encounter any of the characters you've seen before.
I am not expecting way too much development from a porn story. I am expecting a finished porn story. Not endless meandering side quests.
And to me voting is irrelevant. I paid my 60$ first year for a game that sold me on it's story and premise. Unfortunately the things I enjoyed have been abandoned since then.
Still though the game is fun, but more in a nostalgic way now and less I can't wait to see what happens next type of way.
