I'm happy when artists earn well from their work, especially an artist with a big family like DC. He's earned 520k between the last update and this one.
However, 7 months between releases is something i hope we don't see again, that turnover is ridiculous considering his size and resources.
The amount of money that they receive doesn't change the speed at which they work. They've had an established pace for two years now, and since the game is free, they have no control over how much is being donated. At this point the whining about the money is screaming in to the void.
There used to be a busker by where I worked, the guy had a guitar and played the same crappy songs. People would give him money even though he only knew three songs. Did I whine about how he needed to learn new songs, or call him a milker? No, I let people give want they want to give. DC has shown he is not changing his ways, and while he is slow AF, he's fairly transparent about what he is doing (streams multiple times a week) and is still putting out releases at a regular pace.
dc just said on his stream that the update might come tomorrow.. i dont know if he is just teasing us or kidding tho XD
DC is somewhat of a goofy troll, so I would take his comment with a hefty grain of salt. In the past, there's been 1-2 weeks wait when the last two coding tasks (the testing tasks) are left.
