2 days ago, 60% of the coding tasks started, 30% completed. Today all tasks started 26/29 coding tasks completed. Please do tell me how the coder is lazy. :happyblush
Maybe he wants to keep the game for his self2 days ago, 60% of the coding tasks started, 30% completed. Today all tasks started 26/29 coding tasks completed. Please do tell me how the coder is lazy. :happyblush
Do you really want to be told why he's lazy or are you just posturing?2 days ago, 60% of the coding tasks started, 30% completed. Today all tasks started 26/29 coding tasks completed. Please do tell me how the coder is lazy. :happyblush
Run the files, if there's something wrong they will throw out an exception. Plus most programs nowadays will detect errors as you write them. When you're talking about "quality check" on porn game. What do they do? Because I know nothing about coding. Did they run the code on their program to check for any errors. Or they just play the game like us. If the answer is the latter, I now believe that it might take a while to complete. You know? Some tensions build up when you play the game.
Do tellDo you really want to be told why he's lazy or are you just posturing?
I'm really interested, how much time will the next update take. If the bottleneck was really art (which is imho not the point), then they can squeeze it up to month or so?2 days ago, 60% of the coding tasks started, 30% completed. I really think they need more resources! more coders, more artists etc.I'm really interested, how much time will the next update take. If the bottleneck was really art (which is imho not the point), then they can squeeze it up to month or so?
totally depends on the amount of content. Small amounts have usually taken 1 month. Big amounts... well look at this update... the biggest one yet! wow! so there will be much new stuff to dototally depends on the amount of content. Small amounts have usually taken 1 month. Big amounts... well look at this update... Being the biggest one yet o.0
I suppose it depends also of the holidays. July and August are not the best months for hard working.totally depends on the amount of content. Small amounts have usually taken 1 month. Big amounts... well look at this update... Being the biggest one yet o.0
Let's wait and see what "biggest one yet" means.totally depends on the amount of content. Small amounts have usually taken 1 month. Big amounts... well look at this update... Being the biggest one yet o.0
They're coding in baby-tier code language that any half-assed teenager could learn proficiently in a matter of months. They're not restructuring an entire program that deals with a complex language such was C+ or C++. We're talking about Python's retarded brother. What they did, or are doing, could be done in a matter of 2-3 days. I repeat for the slowest: they're not coding in a real language; it's renpy.Do tell
I will quote him:That reminds me DC is on vacation for a week or two (can't recall) so no update until he's out of vacation. :test::test::test:
Update will come out and dc will be writing the script and helping out as he cans but expect fewer progress on the 0.14 update (0.13 will be wrapped up by the team as soon as they can and published)
You went after the language not the actual programmer, nice try but won't work. Saying it's simple won't do you any good. I'd say if you think that you or anyone can do a better job then talk to the dev and tell him about it, but just saying "Oh it's easy, anyone can do it in 2 days" without showing any proof, or anything that can be seen to testify that statement is non-logical. And It's funny that you say 2-3 days because in 2 days he went from, as I've said, 30% to what 95%? So what you're saying is that he's actually doing good... Or what's happening here? They're coding in baby-tier code language that any half-assed teenager could learn proficiently in a matter of months. Now I would to know why do you think they're doing a satisfactory job.
1. Your reasoning lacks logic. Is a coder and the language which he codes two independent and autonomous things? If he codes in an easy language and takes too much time in said language, we can there arrive at the general premise that he is lazy. I'm sorry if you can't keep up with formal logic 101.You went after the language not the actual programmer, nice try but won't work. Saying it's simple won't do you any good. Your missing the link between one and another.1. Your reasoning lacks logic. Is a coder and the language which he codes two independent and autonomous things? Never said that. I said and I quote:2. "If it's so easy why don't you do it?" I have my own job and I don't need another one.
I'd say if you think that you or anyone can do a better job then talk to the dev and tell him about it
Defenses don't require evidence when the accusation provides no evidence. You're the one saying he's lazy and I'm asking for proof. Asking for a defense of something that doesn't exist is like asking me to prove that unicorns don't exist. You provide the evidences to why they exist and I'll defend my point afterwards.3. Seems a bit hypocritical to say "you didn't provide proofs to make your argument valid" while you yourself do not do what you ask or point out. So where are the proofs that ascertains that he is not lazy? Sincerely this seems like an auto-destructive argument since you accuse your own premise of being non-logical.
Code me a game about resources... But you won't be given the resources. Now that he has every resource he needs to actually code his part, he's doing it and doing it at a spectacular rate, even by your own standards.4. I can ask you the same. Am I saying that? Or are you implying that he had a whole month to work and decided in the last few days to do all he to do in this side job and thus almost completed it? Honestly, by that standard it is almost as like you're admitting that he is lazy.
