No story is, nor indeed will be, that elaborated to get up to the standard you want to apply. Of course you can mulitply those questions about any story, but the answer will always be the same: There's just not enough time/it's just too much work.

The approach has always been to cover many characters and stories without going too deep on scenes and I wouldn't expect that to change.

This selection given to players is empty and meaningless. Nothing changes in the game. Does not lead to other unique content. It's just a "flash" flashing on the screen during normal anal sex scenes.

It looks like all of this work has been done just to fulfill DC's "promise" about the trap. But doing it is simply miserable.
I don't see the point in making such a lot of work time into something that doesn't really do anything and doesn't lead to anything.

And this is done when one of the biggest accusations towards DC is the slow pace of updating.

As I said in another post above, you can say that about many things in the game, like pregnancy, etc.
It's easy to claim that elements oneself doesn't like are unnecessary, but ultimately it's really just up to DC to decide that. Of course people are free to complain, but I can only state again, that I'm quite happy that he does a few things different at times.

I'd disagree though. The story is fine, the scenes aren't bad and it seems a pretty good compromise for the average player.

As mentioned before, SS has never been a game that elaborates stories, relationships, sex, etc. to a high degree, but remains rather superficial in most areas. It's always been like that and it'll almost certainly stay like that.

I just wanna chime in again. I played eve's story and surprisingly liked it. The whole trans bit was meh, but i found myself able to ignore it enough to enjoy some "guy" on guy action, she's not overly feminine, and the whole trans thing isnt being shoved down your throat, it was just kinda natural, prolly not the right word. I do feel like it was a cop out since DC orgiinally form the first version promised a gay route, which he then many updates later revised to a trap (still a guy) and thenout of the blue decided to go the trans route.It kinda pisses me off since i was waiting SOOO long for my gay content,,, Perks of being bi is i can enjoy the rest of the game though, and like i said the optional trans route wasnt as jarring or "ick" as most games with trans characters.

And I do not like it, not because it is a trans option in itself, but because I have an irresistible impression that DC stopped halfway. Since he gave Ewa a dick, he should give a scene where Ewa uses it by fucking someone. Naturally, the road should lead to fucking Odette and Grace, but since incest content is blocked at the moment, I understand that Grace is out of Eve's reach at the moment. However, Odette should be fucked by Ewa.

Well, DC talked about "the trap" since the very beginning, just as he's been talking about content for Kevin for ages (as far as I'm aware Kevin was actually included in a very early poll) and he even put him on "the to-do list". Just because that kind of content wasn't there at the start, doesn't mean that it's totally out of place. After all it's not some people are pushing their agenda, but it's DC saying what he'd like to have in the game and he's actually more or less consistent.

I mean, it certainly won't be mendatory, so people are free to ignore it anyway.

The problem I had with "The Trap" was why did it have t be Eve? It could have been Judith or Rhonda? But no it had to be Eve.

Can you attach a savegame here so that it can be ruled out to be related to a broken save?

Did you try to download and install the game completely fresh? What about installing it on another machine?

If nothing helps, you could try deleting persistent data in the game settings.

I think your hope in that regard will be in vain. Eve is the trap, though it may of course be possible that we'll get another scene with her. But there certainly won't be another trap character.

Because once there was a reason here that DC is planning to change the story of Eric and ms Johnson.
As far as I remember, DC's argument was that he didn't like MC lying to his friend.

The usual logic is that if MC does not have the consent of his "girlfriends" to fuck other women, then his every relationship with another woman after getting a girl will be cheating on her.
I assume DC does not want such hypocrisy in the SS if it is to be a light and pleasant game.

Definitely a better idea is simply to write a story in which he has permission to fuck other women.

In addition, there were leaks that the beach house MC would have a small harem.
If this turns out to be true then all his "girlfriends" should have the option where they allow MC to have sex with other women.

You can pretend that none of the women / girls know anything about other women in MC's life, but it would be very amateur behavior of the creators since in the MC game he doesn't behave as if he wanted to keep his relationship secret.

Personally, I think that all these pregnancies are not an impregnation fetish, but DC's way of adding to the SS the universal acceptance of MC women to share it with other women.
Simply in the MC game will ultimately guarantee women healthy child.
And most women want to have children sooner or later.

I'm pretty sure that's what he's aiming for to some degree. And it's not hypocrisy. If you don't want to feel like cheating on Eve, play again or live with those feelings. The game was never really meant for MC to get all women in one playthrough. DC may bowed to patreon demand to some degree by not introducing more choices, contrary to what he had planned before, but that doesn't change that basic fact. I personally even prefer it that way, because it enables at least some variety.
Right now the prom part of the game is missing, so there's no ending, but once we get the dating system and a proper endings for each schoolgirl are implemented, it'll make more sense, especially given that it's still suppoed to be VN/Dating-Sim, which usually follow a certain pattern.

The harem feature may be called like that but we'll see how excatly it's going to work. You'll be able to furnish the beach house and girls will be able to move in. More isn't really known right now and we'll how to see, who will be included and how he'll manage it in terms of scenes. I'd personally expect it to be rather small and limited, given the insane amount of work anything else would be and given, that DC didn't want to implement it at first and only said he'll do it, because so many people wanted it.

There won't be a need to pretend once we actually get the dating system. DC said quite a few times, that dating several girls at once will lead to deductions in your dating score. But again, connecting all those stories, dialogs and relationships will likely happen later on and we'll see how it turns out.

This is hypocrisy on the part of DC. The same can be said that the situation when MC lies to Eric can be left to the player. Let him live with this decision. But no. DC wants to redo this so that MC doesn't lie to a friend. After all, the situation with MC lying to your girlfriend is practically the same. Why is lying to Eric unacceptable to DC and lying to your girlfriend is already so?
Leaving it this way only shows that DC has introduced too many different threads and is unable to stick them together in any meaningful whole.

The dating system does not convince me because it will be very difficult to balance.
It will have to be determined very carefully for each girl separately at which stage of the story they are a couple and not just friends.
Other girls will have to automatically recognize that DC already has a girlfriend and refuse him to continue to strengthen relationships with them, etc.
Additionally, if you focus on filling your wallet for a moment, you may expect a worse relationship, etc.
It will be very difficult to implement sensibly.

I also do not expect complete freedom in creating your own harem because DC is not able to embrace so many possible combinations.
I would be more inclined to small harems based on good relations between women who are in them.

As for ms Bissette .... I don't like her new breasts. I definitely prefer normal bulging nipples.
They are definitely more erotic than concave nipples.

it's make a line on the file name after complete uploading than nothing happened ?
