Sure there is, but it's not very sophisticated. There are only two variants AFIK, one absolutely bitchy one and one not-so bitchy.
DC said all those dialogs between characters that should be influenced by how far their story is advanced will be re-worked and adapted once the game is in a more finished state. This totally makes sense because otherwise for each update each and every such dialog would need to be re-worked.

You probably downloaded the wrong version, Android is listed in the OP, and is just a raw APK.

Like this is a good thing, considering the development pace. Almost every update is bigger than the previous one (DC proudly announces it) and so is the waiting time.

summertime saga is a good but not great game, and the only publicly reason for not being great is that the project manager/all around manger(Darkcookie) has only done his job as a Art/Designer and has fallen victim to the greatest trap of the indie creator, and that is the failure to do project part of management, if Darkcookie somehow managed to spend a little less than 4 months on a update with 4 scenes and is about to do it again there is no excuse, granted i don't know how long it takes to make a scene. But for a man that make a average of 50k(now 65k) a month, NO and I mean no reason that any bottleneck in production could not be fixed in a matter of weeks and even if he doesn't have enough cash for ever one more staff member(for the company he should own???) it would maybe only take him 2.5k/5k monthly for 30k/60k a year and that assume that all other staff menmber make over 80k a year and still have enough for a 40k emergency fund. The fact that the number one adult creator and the 4th rank on all of patreon doesn't know how to manage is money is laughable and ridiculous. (PS this is a response to the past year of terrible pages on F95 that have made me question my faith in humanity)

He must be really an epic trashlord if his $/month and Patron counts never went down in the ~4 years he's been making Summertime. Either that or the people splurging $ at him are dumber than rocks, ~4 years of dumb rocks ....
Side note : those top 3 Patreons feel WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more trash tier than DC. Over 158k for podcasts ? #1 dude makes psycological videos ? Guess my 2nd point for why DC's $/month never goes down is answered right there

everything you just said was false (this is why all the page are bad) I never called his supporters dumb, people have a right to use their money the why their want to that is a fact, but that does not make up for bad leadership. he has lost supporters in the update droughts if you took a single second to look at my pictures you would know that.(and I find it hilarious how a man who can't objectively look at something he likes and find problems, can question other people's products I will not be responding to an another 3head straw man argument)

Mad much ? The entire "he makes too much $/month, he should hire more people" argument has been tossed around for years now. Nothing changed and nothing will change. You brought it up 1st, you could at least try to counter what I pointed : people don't care it takes him over 3 months per update, otherwise his Patreon graph wouldn't be exponentially upwards, it would plummet pretty hard and fast. Is he a pleb dev that has way too much income per month ? Possibly. Does it bother any1 aside the whiners/people that don't and never will pledge ? Apparently not the 25k+ dudes that keep paying him.
Fun fact : Patreon doesn't work on "pay now, get game in X time" (aka Kickstarter). You pay to have DC do what he wants/likes. He makes the game however he likes, takes all the time he wants/needs and you get it FOR FREE whenever it's ready. Don't like how things go ? Drop your pledge and go elsewhere. Game will still be made and you'll (probably) still get it.
