To be fair, that's a recent and actually very concerning thing. He managed to release Diane, Jenny and Eve in ~4-5 months each and that's what each update should take.Lol, keep dreaming that. Any1 who's been following DC for more than a few months already knows it'll take about a year per major release. It took him 5 months just to go from 0.20.1 to 0.20.5, and that only had 3-4 scenes. Now try to imagine the entire 0.21 with 3 characters having nothing yet (1 isn't even in the game), have them go from total void to complete route and that complete package would take less than 6 months ? On top of 0.20.8 coming around late Feb/early March at best, then the 16:9 remake that not only has to redraw most of the game but it "should" add about 5-6 scenes, you're talking about ~July at best. Then there's probably gonna be a 0.20.9 sometime later to bugfix. So you're about August next year where they'll update the tracker for 0.21 ...... Do that again for the next 2 builds and you're easily late 2022 for 0.23 to be near completion, not taking into account the plethora of random side-builds DC will probably throw around during that time
The fact that this whole main story thing went completely out of control and took way, way, way longer than it should have, hopefully won't become his new standard. It was effectively scheduled to take ~6 to 7 months and now will probably take 15 or so.
