That's not really true, either. The schedule changed from shorter ~2 to 3 month to larger 4 to 5 months updates back in early 2018 with 0.15. and it's been more or less the same ever since. Sure, some updates were released a little faster and some slower but not by that much.I think it was 2 months for an update before the pandemic. Now devs take 4-6 months for an update. My biggest fear is that devs will continue with 4-6 months releases even after the pandemic.
Then again, it is true that covid certainly took a small toll on DC, given that he had all of kids at home for such a long time, which certainly isn't that nice if you wanna sit and draw. Add that it seems like they pretty much lost control on how much content they wanted to add to the main story, and the whole thing took way too long indeed.
So yes, the ~4 to 5 to months releases will stay for sure... there's zero chance that Ronda, Annie or Judith will get faster updates.
