The video game part is in the questing, the fact that you have to do things in order for the game to progress. If you really wanted a video game there should be a fail state in the first place, and last time I played, this game doesn't have game overs and nor do require any skill to play it at all. There's absolutely no justification for branching paths, since you're locking content arbitrarily, and that's bad on itself.

I do not agree. Specially at this point of development which is still relatively early and to be honest, I highly doubt your opinion will stop anyone from enjoying the game in way or another. If it does bring you down, I would recommend you to simply stop playing it and look for something you actually like, because right now you are pretty much doing the equivalent of screaming in an empty room... like a porn video or something that isn't a game. You know, something that spoon feeds you.

Too bad you don't seem to have anything else to do except replay the same game over and over.

Great game, maybe the one with the best character design (at least thinking in drawing style, some find a bit ugly faces, not my case) but the continuous reboot and keep unfinished all the sroty arcs made me feel often in a deja vu. I think dark cookie must consider to advande in game and creare another one not to work in circles.

For being a game that boasts about being able to FUCK ALL THE GIRLS, locking girls after fork paths is stupid, specially when it's really needless in the first place. The game was great until the Erik update, when the whole shenanigans of branching paths and only 3 sex scenes per update began.

First off, with Erik's mom, why would you have the option to fuck Jane or Mrs. Johnson? I get the whole story behind it, but here is the thing, Mrs. Johnson still need to train Erik sexually, specially for her own needs, I don't see why she would stop fucking Erik when she did it off her own pleasure, proof being she only stopped when the protagonist stepped in, so I don't see why she should stop after he gets a girlfriend and still be on character. Just by changing that you will already have everyone happy, Erik has a girlfriend and can still fuck his mom, MC can fuck Erik's mom too for sexual training, and MC can also fuck Jane because of sexual training, hell, Jane browses chans and seems pretty freaky herself so she might even be up to a foursome.

Secondly, the whole Mia's family's fiasco. You'd expect that an scene would be at least about you fucking both Mia and her mom, considering it happened in Erik's route even though no one asked for it, but nah, let's actually split them in a way you can only fuck one and not the other. What the fuck? Admittedly, I haven't played it yet, and I won't in a long time, but already saw the 3 sex scenes and they are beyond disappointing, specially when I was looking forward for Mia's route.

Lastly, the last 2 updates are disappointing in almost if not every way. Mom's route have you going here or there, same with Aunt and Same with sister, and there's plenty of things to do with them, you can fuck the aunt in the shed or the kitchen, you can fuck your mom in the shower or her bedroom with 2 different variants, and you can fuck the sister at night, in the shower or in front of the webcam, and you can even watch her camwhore shows and she masturbates when looking though the telescope. Even if they are not a lot, they are spread enough with enough in-between content and story to justify it. Erik is basically "play here, then meet her here, and then you have an split road", and Mia is probably the same but in the church.

Absolutely terrible.

select "watch neighbors" with sister to trigger this scene. You'll get it after you she catches you looking through the telescope. You will have to be able to do a cam show too

A more practical solution is a gallery, so you savescum the scenes. But, again, that defeats the "Fuck all the girls" premise. If you need multiple saves to fuck all the girls, then you're actually not fucking all the girls at all. Fucking all the girls involve fucking them all in the same timeline, ergo, same save file, not even new game needed.

Then why divide the already scarce content it have? Why lock girls under an illusory choice? Is this Bioshock Infinite now? It's a really questionable decision. furthermore, branching paths become a headache for future updates. Too many branches and you will never finish this game, there's already enough characters that supposedly should have sex scenes, and if the last 2 updates will be the standard, this game will be done by 2050. The next update better be good or it'll set the standard. Finally, the coders aren't the brightest guys around, they broke a lot of things by just adding a branch, imagine more branches.

I have a problem with the game.
I can't use the mouse to enter locations on the map (e.g. the library) or to select doors and objects inside locations (e.g. the telescope). They don't glow when the mouse is hovering over them. But I can use the mouse to select items on the HUD (e.g. my phone).
The mouse cursor doesn't change in the game (windowed or fullscreen), is the same system cursor.
This wouldn't be a big problem, as I use the arrow and ENTER key, but, once the Pizzeria location is available, the Park can't be selected anymore.
I searched this forum and google and no luck.

The point is that the game didn't have any choice and was enjoyable as so and then choices were added out of nowhere, the problem are not the choices, is locking content behind them, forcing you to reload or start over if you want the scenes there, and that's also a problem because the game premise is that you can fuck all the girls. The game was labeled as Virtual Novel and Dating Sim right from the beginning and the branching basically just started. As soon as the dating system for the school girls arrives you apparently have to date one girl per playthrough to get all her scenes and to go to the prom to get the "final scene".

And the premise that you'll be able to fuck every girl doesn't really exist anymore since there'll be at least one girl (coming in 14.5 or 15) whom you won't even be able to date at all. Else I'm not aware that DC ever mentioned that you can get everybody in one playthrough.

Because the concept for the whole game was basically done half a year ago. DC knows were he wants to end up and slowly progresses through his schedule. It was planned as a VN/Sim and will become one. That's why it may be important to actually read the patreon page. Branching is part of his plan, makes a lot of sense story wise (you just can't date half of the school without anyone noticing and you'll have to invest a bit to get a promdate+ fun) and makes you - in my opinion - appreciate the story a bit more.

Else one can only repeat that the game obviously isn't done yet so there is no real sense in comparing new and incomplete stories (Mia's story will continue as soon as the dating system comes) to those that already received updates in the past.

I seriously doubt that second statement considering how bad these last 2 updates are, and there are 2 reasons for that: the little amount of content added and dividing said content by branch. Erik's mom was worst because it had 3 branches for 3 sex scenes and a handjob. I don't care about your opinion and here is the fact: a lot of sim dates let you date all the girls at once, even when ultimately you can go with one and even then harem paths exists, and that would be logical considering the "fuck all girls" statement. And the problem stand still, how can Mia's story continue if you choose her mom? And if it does, what does this choice even matter? I her mom isn't even part of the dating system so branching it this way is, again, retarded. I understand saving these branches for the dating sim, but this is just an arbitrary branch, it's stupid, there's no logical justification specially if it continues. Mom's story is completed, and guess what? No damn branching, same with sister and aunt.
