Depends on who you ask. Officially the reason for lack of content is because of the tech-update taking way longer than expected to be done. There's a mix of other claims by people here that DC is milking this tech-update out on purpose.

• The tech-update is focused on recoding the whole game because it sucked and was a pest to work with.
• Bringing the whole game to 21:9 aspect ratio so we don't have those black bars anymore and fills the screen up nicely. That means redoing all of the art to fit the screen.
• Reposing character assets
• Improving UI and some art

The scope has seemingly increased though, to what extent is not sure but DC has worked on a lot of art, both new and improved, so we might see this update as a full overhaul of the game as opposed to just being purely technical enhancements.

I still recall the times when someone called ICSTOR his hero for releasing proper updates, when people claimed Subverse would trash SS and when people said that WaL! updates were sooo much better. You never know...

Something I was curious about reading as a fellow developer, is that is StS officially on PornHub? Like do they have a media presence there, or is it just some people put clips of it on the Hub? To me it’s always some person speaking/awkwardly muttering in another language while VASTLY skipping through the game.

Does that really generate enough popular interest?

but aint 2 years like, enough time to finish the work ?

like there are alot of other devs hiring co-workers to speed things up, Take NLT for example: those guys cranked up 3 huge games while this remake was being worked on.

it is a bit disingenuous. this forum is 100% porn game enthusiasts. we are more likely to spend money on porn games, we are the direct target audience. i would think the people on pornhub are watching a vid, spanking it, and then closing their tab after post nut clarity more so than running to patreon and signing up.

i'm not saying these sites don't bring awareness to the game but saying f95 doens't have influence is crazy.
