StS is WAY better than all of those games, with the exception of maybe Katawa Shoujo, which doesn't meet all my required stipulations. I don't get where this new narrative that the game is actually trash has come from. The game is fine, in its highest moments it is one of the best games on the site. It just hasn't updated in 3 years. That is its only major problem.

Because the standards for what makes a good game has changed in 3 years with more games being completed and having far more content than STS does. You are crazy if you think 4 Elements Trainer isn't better than STS, let alone games like Town of Passion. You might think this is something subjective, but FET has far more content than STS does, likable characters despite being a parody, two different routes with each book, and good art in general.

It isn't even an issue with Koikatsu being cheap or not, is that you can feel there isn't even a little bit of effort put into it. Some KK projects can look pretty good if you invest enough time in making them look good.

Paradise lust has to be the most underrated game on this site while Summertime Saga is the most overrated one.
I'm sure Paradise lust will be doing somewhat well on Steam and Itch. DC has never monetized any other platform but Patreon and as such his earnings will certainly be higher over there, while some other games to spread them across 3 or 4 platforms.

Paradise Lust is pretty average. The art doesn't really stand out and the plot is pretty basic. Mind you, average =/= bad. A perfectly average porn game does exactly what it needs to do, provide people with stuff to fap to.
