Didn't updated the "unnoficial " patch with the tech update release. This I cannot forgive. "Roomate" and "Landlady" is the cuck way to play this.
Think it's closer to 3 years now honestly, and now it's looking to be another 8ish months for the new version to be released at least, that may or may not include some new content.

I do want to point out that this is an absurdly weirdly western ero dev thing. A lot of Asian developers, even if they make slop, at least finish that slop. There are a TON of eastern indie ero games, and their indie culture in general (VNs, manga/manhwa, light novels and similar) is pretty established with better paths to 'professional' success than the west right now. A long of the stuff on dlsite that goes on to sell like bonkers are from 1-3 man teams too, which a lot of people don't realize for some reason. And these games release with far less time and funding than games like Summertime Saga had.
And it's a disturbingly common pattern... look at Subverse for example. Eastern developers aren't perfect of course... MGQ Paradox, lol. But he still has more complete games under his belt at least than 99% of the western games on this site (and I don't count Paradox part 1/2 as a complete game lol).
Not all western devs, not all asian devs, but yeah, still. I don't know what the cultural difference is that even slow Asian devs steadily actually finish their stuff or at least make consistent progress while western devs go "wow everyone likes this cool thing I made WHELP kthxbye" and turns into stardust before shimmering away in the wind.
It's mindboggling to me. Yes it takes work but this dude could finish Summertime Saga and let it sit milking with nothing but positivity and zero guilt just like Monster Girl Quest and similar popular games and make oodles even if chose to never make anything else.

You are using the incest patch that was made for older versions of the game.
The new "update" is the first release of a remake of the game that only has about 15% of the content of the previous version.
The error you are getting is related to a character that doesn't have any content anymore.

dont know i kinda like the new revamp only if its much more refined and completed. theres still a lot of old assets still being used as a placeholder.

F95 must create a new thread for v21.0.0 and future releases and keep this thread for v0.20.16 (and the [ABANDONED] flag). There is no good-faith reason to mix the two.
1. The reviews from this thread are for everything released up to v0.20.16 and they have all been invalided by adding v21.0.0 in here. The current review score is STRONGLY misleading as it does NOT reflect the quality of v21.0.0 in any way. The only way to keep reviews relevant is to separate the old and new games each in their own threads.
2. There is a need for two threads also because the promise made back in 2020 by DC to re-release the game IN FULL has been broken, spectacularly so. Consequently, v21.0.0 is NOT a successor to v0.20.16. Maybe it will be at some point but that's VERY far into a VERY uncertain future as we're witnessing a v21.0.0 that's been 3+ years in the making and it came out with 10% of the promised content and out of that, half is content that was literally copy-pasted from v0.20.16. At this pace parity between v21.0.0 and v0.20.16 will take years and there is no good-faith reason to confuse users in the meantime.

They will not do that. That argument has been made for other games that had remakes and the mods never created new threads for those games.
