Patreon (and Steam) bans games for anything that suggests there's people under 18 involved. With Steam explicity saying that a school setting is explicity forbidden.

It has and IT WAS in first builds but later DarkCookie removed everything because of Patreon.

Pretty sure it's because it's 2D. At least on Steam they're notoriously oversensitive when it comes to 2D vs. 3D.
