There's an assumption here, and it's that anyone who can write competent code wants to work on project being managed like this. I'm guessing no, that's not what he has at all. I'm guessing he's got whatever rando desperately wants his own kink added to the game, but can't pay that's trying to learn to code so the dev will put some foot shit in or whatever they want to see.

I would conjecture that most complainers about gaming software have probably not done:
- coding to this scale (or at all),
- thousands of pages of artwork,
- have written a novel
- or multiples of the above.
I may not like some artwork, game flow, or story of some games, but I do appreciate the work and time that has to go into it.
I chose whether or not to play it, but don't lambast the effort involved and don't understand why others do.

In turn I would conjecture that most can appreciate the work and time that has gone into this game, especially in its early stages. There is a huge disconnect between the progress rate at the beginning of its development and now, you don't need to be an expert in coding to see this.
If you are involved in software development you can easily see that it did not need to be like this but the dev allowed it to happen. That is what the complaints are about.

I have been in code development or code development management for many, many years. The dev confessed that the code was a pile of spaghetti and I know that that stuff gets harder if not impossible to modify or enhance as the code base grows. Hence, a rewrite was inevitable to keep the project alive. And, unfortunately, that's where we are - no one likes it, at all.

Also, I just started a completely new playthrough in v0.20.16 strictly to see if I could answer your question and the mall opens the second day of gameplay. No mod, no patch, no unren.
So I don't know what you have done if that did not happen for you.

No. However Coach Bridget has no content and will not for quite awhile.
Depends on what you want your game experience to be - but as for completing tasks/etc it will not change them. Playing with cheats enabled means you do not have to
do the grinding for stats and $$$. That's all.
But you will have to if you are playing v0.20.16. Eventually.
As I stated in an earlier reply to you - the saves from v0.20.16 are not compatible with v21.0.0. Anything you do in v0.20.16 will not transfer over for when new content is added to v21.0.0 and later versions.

Okay. Instead of going into the files - if you read my FAQ that I shared with you, in v0.20.16 you can click on the wifi symbol on the in-game phone to open a cheat menu.
But, again, I would recommend not futzing too much. But if you do - save early, save often.
Actually... always save early, save often... it's a thing that is in development, not a completed product. Save in Anon's bedroom or when viewing the map.

If you're playing v21.0.0-wip.5003 - that previous content hasn't been reactivated in the preview yet.
Same here, found everything else easily but have not seen the toad. stayed through afternoon and evening hovering all over the waterfall but not finding the toad.
edit: Came back another day and it was there, big and obvious. I didn't realize that it spawned randomly since all of the other ingredients were available the first time I went to their locations.

or looked at the developer's website
or looked at the main menu screen when you started the game
it should have been apparent.
