Well I love how the counter argument is "Something something OH SO WE DON'T GET TO HAVE OPINIONS!!?? HAHAHA SIMP!!!" no. youre positing your opinion as objective fact like everyone else seems to try to do, and play defense when naturally someone disagrees. its just a disagreement.
Sites like these were made to get around paywalls. users of this site make free games for it, because they want their idea to get seen and Summertime Saga isn't connected to this site in that way.

How does gaining more "simps" get the game more money? I'm not subscribed and haven't been. are you? I just like the game. in my opinion btw.

When it comes to fingers, eyes and horse legs, among other quadrupeds, AI has a long way to go, however it is undeniable that fanart that uses AI is improving and developing further.
As they say, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

You denounce him for what he himself denounces? Unlike you, he referred to the answer from the sunflower babbler. He's not just spreading his own opinion here, he's also trying to make light of accusations that are absolutely justified and to make them look ridiculous.

As I see it, there are only fans of SummertimeSage in this thread, otherwise we wouldn't be here. There's one side that's trying to increase the pressure on DarkCookie to do more in the game and the few but very loud others who just want the developer to earn money without doing anything. he can do that for all I care, but it won't change anything about the game.

the latter is unfortunately a rip-off of the fans and supporters, those who simply want to treat him to an immediate pension can do so. those who hope that their support will result in a finished game should be warned.
What's the problem, please?

He's simply making fun of us. He's been gone for two years. If he makes a rocket to travel to another galaxy, it will be finished. Then we get the greatest development. Jenny goes up to the second floor with a face that smells shit. No, and the funniest thing is that he's not a developer, but a group of developers who seem to be developing the game with their ass hair.

True, this game was the first one that i played back in 2017 , then i stopped playing it at 2018 and i came back to check on it on 2021 and then again on 2023 but it was still on "scam update"(or some might call it development hell, for like 3-4 years) and now in 2024 we have the same content with a bit different art style from 2017. But as long as the cow can produce milk, we have to milk it. That was my 2 cents.

What is it with good 2d art games being bundled with massively complicated technical requirements that slows everything down?

The Big Beyond, What a Legend, Space Rescue: Code Pink, Aurelia...

Pig Princess is the only one left that seems to be under actual active progressing development, in no small part since it's just a fairly simple VN with nice largely static full screen drawings.

man.. i want soo much for the dev to remake this game yet AGAIN but this time with AI assets with the excuse that "i cand eliver much faster updates now" just to watch the ppl defending him try to come up with new excuses lmao

is it only me or is this thread barely getting new posts anymore? jeez it truly is joever but not for DC as he keeps on milking for all eternity.

personally i'm looking forward to aurelia and the new akabur game but when those are out there is nothing left other than endless daz3d gobbo trash with the two biggest 2D projects WaL and STS turning out like this. oh well i guess it was fun while it lasted, time to become a normal member of society i guess.
