Looking at fan art... He outgrew the game. And replaced it. DarkCookie can do tech update until the day the meteor hits the earth. It is no longer needed and not meet the standards of the fans. Only one question. When will his cows understand this?

That's really only for those players who skip 95% of the dialog and just want to see the scenes - which may be some, but doubt it's a large part of those people who are paying. There's ton of decent 2D art out there and you really won't need a game - let alone pay for one - to get that.

If anything, the fact that DC still makes this much money clearly shows, that there's lack of quality 2D game alternatives in the market.

I'd like for you guys to put your money where your mouth is, as they say, and actually do something. I am not the one who seems to be filled with (perceived) righteous indignation for those 'poor poor fools' who are ponying up money for this. On a piracy board of all things. Unbeknownst to all the tech update started when DarkCookie ventured into the woods with nothing but a pair of shorts. He has since been slowly advancing his own technology after moving from stone age mud huts and tools all the way to his own microprocessors and code complier while writing the game in binary. This was only to satisfy his need to make the game "from scratch".

I have a good knowledge of the game art. I believe we need at least one year and a half before he finishes the tech update. It's not suprising that the first 2-month update was supposed to add Debbie, and months later after Debbie should have been finished, he's still redrawing Debbie.

He's sick half the time, works one hour and a few minutes a day when he does, but he spends half of that time reading the chat and talking.

Talking with chat is sadly the name of the game with streaming. You have to engage the people watching. And that takes away a good chunk of time from the stream.

It has always been a mixed bag. Sure, the streams do cost some time, but on the other hand they do add a lot of ideas, details and content to the game and it really wouldn't be the same without them.

Thats why this thread is great though. One day in 2045 we will be on page 1 million and darkcookie will still not be done with the tech updates because his coder is utter dogshit.
