Looking at fan art... He outgrew the game. And replaced it. DarkCookie can do tech update until the day the meteor hits the earth. It is no longer needed and not meet the standards of the fans. Only one question. When will his cows understand this?
There 100% are a subset of users and donors of Dark Cookie who haven't clued on in him being a con artist at that this point who aren't idiots, hence the term "trusting there". I'm betting tons of those accounts from SE Asian don't understand the lore behind the making of this game and drama over the past five years. I want to be very fair to them.
Hence why I'm dismissive to the people on this site defending this nonsense. People are saying "false equivalency" or say Cookie is only stealing a small amount like that matters; not all but some of the best confidence schemes are done over a large scale to ensure maximum profit with minimal risk or penalty (things have changed legally in this regard, but still risk is down and lol tons of legal grey area or outright loopholes if say you're a porn company, casino or a bank)
I am not going to that far; Dark Cookie delivered 75% of a product, people here can play this and complete routes of people characters. I mean they COULD have a year ago, but regradless.
It still is a bad joke Patreon let's Cookie keep up his page and shows they have no ethics: they just buckle to pressure John Q Law (good) and credit card companies (bad) and don't actually care if the users of their site are being taken for a ride if it means they can get their 10% Cut. Especially in a case as cut and dry as this.
The current paying fanbase for the game is coming from non English speaking countries in Asia not named Japan right now, from what I understand (I could be wrong in this), so I'd say a couple years sadly because they have to form their own community to kinda of pass on how DarkCookie breaks promises and easy deadlines, and in general what the English speaking community understands about Patreon Porn games and their creators when this shit happens
Is all the previously added content already available in the new version after the tech update?

No, most of the content has been removed and will be added in over time. From what I understand there may be some tweaks but not any really new material for quite a while. Read back a few pages(or do a search(change logs cover it a bit also)).

That's really only for those players who skip 95% of the dialog and just want to see the scenes - which may be some, but doubt it's a large part of those people who are paying. There's ton of decent 2D art out there and you really won't need a game - let alone pay for one - to get that.
If anything, the fact that DC still makes this much money clearly shows, that there's lack of quality 2D game alternatives in the market.

Unbeknownst to all the tech update started when DarkCookie ventured into the woods with nothing but a pair of shorts. He has since been slowly advancing his own technology after moving from stone age mud huts and tools all the way to his own microprocessors and code complier while writing the game in binary. This was only to satisfy his need to make the game "from scratch".

I have a good knowledge of the game art. I believe we need at least one year and a half before he finishes the tech update. It's not suprising that the first 2-month update was supposed to add Debbie, and months later after Debbie should have been finished, he's still redrawing Debbie.
He's sick half the time, works one hour and a few minutes a day when he does, but he spends half of that time reading the chat and talking.

Talking with chat is sadly the name of the game with streaming. You have to engage the people watching. And that takes away a good chunk of time from the stream.
