The question i ask myself is this... why was his dad killed? they say he owes money for gambling.. ok.. how does a fish girl figure in to this story line? now possibly a demon?...look at A Zombies Life... in that story line you could almost expect anything to appear otherworldly..

now unless the fish girl guards a treasure she will give MC so he can pay off the gamblers he should just kick the shit out of since he knows martial arts...it doesnt fit... yes the art is ok story is fine but it goes in another game..or for a special event its cool as a one off..

and please lets suspend realism versus having fun.. were all here to have fun it just sometimes the story doesnt make sense

I think you two have very similar posts about this and I think (IMO) that this is one of those alternative stories. For me, I always enjoyed those CYOA books that take this one aspect or part and basically throws in something a bit extra. Granted, they should be able to explain the monster stuff a bit better, but maybe when we actually get to the story, that could be something that comes up.

A fish girl that was an experiment in a science lab could be a world of explanation, especially if your father had something to do with her release or his debt requiring him to let her go. But I digress, that's just me speculating...

Trying to think from a developer perspective, maybe they got stuck on something and decided to come up with new things as a means to keep the game alive and interesting?

Of all the incomplete games out there, this one has most of the scenes with the main ladies already completed, so I'm completely OK with new content being "random" as I value getting new content over finishing a porn storyline, and what's worse, having to find a new project that's as good as this one.

Of course I want scenes with the teachers and perhaps even the Principal, but I don't care that much in what order.

The top 3 monster girl favourites are as such:

Seems like the Succubus is the fans favourite at this point and I will take this into account if/wen the time comes for some monster madness. The rest will be secret!

- find what really happened to Dad
- find a date for the school's prom night
- get summer cash for university

Check the list in MC's locker: those are the "dates". Mia's the only one who's got a route, at the moment.
The real MC's goal is banging all of his female classmates and dating ONE of them. He just banged Mia and dated... none of them, because the author didn't implement the date system yet.

So, why the author firstly paid all of his attention on the family ladies? He did it because this was his Patreons' choice, and they choose it because they are creepy.

Or maybe because the M and Sis are literally the first characters you meet and are completely isolated from all other characters making it easier to develop their routes without getting caught up with side characters.

For revisiting them and expanding on their story, sure. But that's probably because people would much prefer that to adding a new route that would be predictably half baked (à la the Mia or Erik update).

Well... I don't think so. He started making polls since the beginning, people made their choice, and he followed their choice.

First poll (october 2016) was:
- Which character storyline are you most excited about?

Second one was:

- What method of development progression would you rather see more of?
* Focus on 1 story-line (of 1 or 2 characters) until it's done.
* Work a little bit on all stories/characters each update.

I think people voted: "focus on 1 storyline until it's done". That's what he's doing now.

You should remember that updates came out monthly in the beginning: you see a new route every 4 months, now. And an old one reworked every 4 months.

No youre not right about the family gals not being main characters. First if youre going by quests the mom can be your prom date. Sister is a maybe. Your aunt helps you get cash to use for college. The sister story is important for building your dex stat which helps with the last quest. Also finding out what happened to dad will most certainly involve your family. They are important for the story development so I would say its pretty obvious why he is spending a good amount of time on them.

Id still say they are the most important at the moment. They drive the main story forward. I thought the mom rework was fantastic not just for the scenes, but also for the plot. She sets up the dating system and her update gave a little more development on the main quest. Im guessing the other 2 home stories with the aunt and sister are going to continue the dad quest and possibly give an end scenario (but not for sometime).

We disagree, that's fine. For me, the main ladies are whoever we've already met and the ones the MC interacts with the most. That would be the Mom, the Aunt and the Sister at home, and Mia. Judith, the blonde and the girls in the shower could eventually reach that point, but they're not at the moment.

If you're playing only to complete the game, then you're right, but like I said I don't play with the goal of finishing it but rather exploring all the content available, which I guess is why I'm happier having all this content for the girls that are already in the game while keeping the classmates in the back-burner. I'd even prefer getting the teachers before them as well...

That's all good news to me! The more scenes, the better. I'm just grateful we have completed scenes with all of them as opposed to games where we get 1 or 2 (if we're lucky) and are forced to wait forever for the rest...
