The only safe thing to do is to make the vanilla have no family relationship at all and use patches or codes to revert back to original story. And talking with one of the developer, they have some back up plan for it. Now just on making decision which solution better on current condition.

this censorship ruin the very heart of the game, now in addition to the teachers the only things that I care to see are the scenes of Roxy Hard, Roxy mother and Maria (Pizzeria)

I guess its safe to say that if you want the incest content, you will need to keep the last release, and just muscle through with non stop skipping of text for the new one. Wonder if the next update will use different saves or if we will have to backup last versions saves. Without a gallery to replay everything, I made a lot of different saves. Then again, I guess the vast majority of them have nothing to do with the content being changed, so just need to back up mom, sister, and aunts saves.

Sadly saves have never been compatible and you'll always have to replay the whole game with every new update. So we can be 100% sure that saves won't work. We will get at gallery in the next update though.
That said, it will change in the future. DC hired a new dev to clean up the code and to implement backwards compatability at some point. Not in the next one, but maybe now with Roxxy's or the one after that.

Being incest the main theme of the game, the impact would be major. That said, DC is a smart dev who's aware of this and hopefully will salvage the game from Patreon mangling, restoring the game to the way it's meant to be played.
