I don't really like pregnancy in these games. Because it's usually not done right, and it's too silly, like in those old RPGMaker hentai games where you have male characters fucking girls just to impregnate them, with cringy dirty talk while at it.

But I don't have a problem if it's optional, 'cause it will mean more content and different routes. So I hope pregnancy is done right in this game.

It used to tick me off how for every update the progress bar would reach 99%, and then stay that way for about a week before release.

Now it annoys me that they announce that the update's done save for one bit of animation that hasn't been turned in, but the progress bar's been at 97 for a week with 5 tasks to go.

Like, it's not outrage or anger of any kind, I just resign myself to wait it out like most people. It's just the fact that they have a fancy progress bar to show transparency but its purpose becomes useless when every update reaches its end, that annoys something deep in my personal idiosyncrasies.

My two cents: If you're not a donor, don't complain about a FREE game being slow to update. If you are a donor, and the slow updates bother you, cancel your pledge. That's what I did.

I swear the thread would be 500 pages shorter if people followed this advice :coldsweat:

If their code is so bad, shouldn't DC and his team take a few months to take care of that ? Plus, which update will make us advance in the main story (I'd like to investigate dad's death and meet the mobsters) ?

none until now,you will have to wait till DC put in poll again and pray for people vote on that...maybe as hard as me trying to get Judith on the list of updates.....

it's always the same fucking shit every update, these guys make 40k a month on patreon, why aren't they fixing their production pipelines? sorry but letting two high school students fix bugs for 2 hours a day is just not enough, that was fine when the game made 3k or 5k on patreon, you should expext more now that dc is making 10 times as much

or just work early on the animation instead to leave them for last in the process schedule, just to optimize the waiting time the animator need with background art and stuff since DC need to take time off stream to work on spoiler stuff either way (this is not a complain, i'm happy to wait as long as it needs for this free game, just a random thought)

there's no way the update will go "poooof and pronto",but instead of saying "soon" he could simply say "as soon we get rid the animations problem we will return to the advancing the update,and since i cant do anything about it anymore i will just begin my work to the next update"...oh wait,he already said something like that,i'm waiting for some more time,its not like i could change anything by insulting people anyways.....

I'm not making a complaint about the game but I would point out that this "advice" of yours is something only a fool would listen to.

If there's something people don't like about a product they are free to criticize as long as they are civil. It's extremely entitled to think that you can tell people not to criticize a product.

If there's something people don't like about a product they are free to criticize as long as they are civil. It's extremely entitled to think that you can tell people not to criticize a product.

Of course people are entitled to their opinions, but making the same complaints over and over again just serves to clog up the thread. Especially when people like you and me get roped into arguing back and forth over it.

Maybe there needs to be a "Summertime Saga Complaints" thread to stop all this pollution.
