Still, it's a little dismaying that someone can't find the two and a half hours needed to grind the stats again.

Pretty sure I'm forgetting one.
Not that those two and a half hours would have to be all at once, mind you and that's just for the stats and not for any content.

I actually like the progression process, the only thing that would make it better is the reaction of npcs to your progress. Like how everyone viewed you as a wimpy loser before working out and getting that cash, after that they still view you as a wimpy loser. A little attention to details would make a ton of difference. For example, Roxxy sees you and says "Eww, don't talk to me loser" after you max out your attributes, get the fastest car, buy that house and get that bank roll. You approach her again and she says "Wow, you look different, good actually, umm don't take this as a compliment, you're still a loser. But, damn!" Something like that. To make all the work worth it. The same way, Diane reacts after you max out strength, lift your shirt up. You max out intelligence, the science teacher doesn't look at you like a retard any longer. I think it's doable on Darkcookie's part since there isn't any extra art to do, just extra text/sentences to work with.
It's no extra art but it's a lot of extra coding. You'd have to go through every character interaction and set variables for stats and I'd imagine that's A LOT more work than either of us realize. Nothing is ever as easy as it seems like it should be in game development

So, your point is? To not make it happen because, it way too much work and it's hard? No one is disputing that, no shit it would be more work, but not hard to do. Especially, if you have 50k per month backing you.
But why would they put that much work into what YOU want them to do with the game when they've got 50k worth of patreon supporters who haven't voted for that? Who are you to dictate the direction of the game? If you're a Patron, you should suggest that on the Patreon page. Otherwise, what possible motive could anyone possibly have for acquiescing to your demands on a pirate forum?
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it's totally cool for us to sit around here and shoot the shit about what we'd like to see, but when you get all "pff, it's not that hard and you're making all this money so just do what I say" you're crossing the line. I like your idea, I really do, I just think we should maybe be a little more careful how we word things around here if we're not supporting the game monetarily.

Yes, it isn't hard because, that's what they've been doing all this time, coding and re-coding. And coding a couple of lines isn't hard because, they've done this before a ton. Again, like I said, I wasn't disputing the work load, no shit it would be a ton of work, but, the difficulty/hardness of coding it isn't an issue because, they've done it over and over again. You can see DC stream 10/12hours per weeks (You can see him draw a lot, but it's not the most productiv method), he works 3x this time every week, he managed the schedule with the devs, etc... . It's not precalculated 3D character or other.
The next update will be ready when it's ready. The content is great and actually their progress on the game is good.

Never suggested it's an art rip or asked for more art. Suggested flavor text and nought else. Ren'Py is known for deprecating pieces of code - which still remain usable - but I can't see how adding one or two lines per character would actually slow DC down that much.

Not to be on the side of the "DC is a greedy, indolent fuck stick who is scamming his patreon supporters", but oh my god... you can see him stream 10-12 hours per week? Wooow. 10-12 hours. Big fuuuuucking deal. Everyone who has a full time job works that in a day and half, some people work that in a single day. You also have no way of knowing if he actually works "3X" that amount of time, are you on the development team? DC puts out a worthwhile update on average twice a year and they're typically not more than 10-15 minutes long, for pretty much any professional studio he would have been fired years ago. And scheduling devs? Again, big fuuuuuucking deal. Plenty of people do that for a living and produce results at a much faster pace. Why? Because they're not shaking a can on a digital street corner with a cardboard sign that says "Will draw big tits for spare change" on it.
There are patreon projects out there pulling in far less than Summertime Saga and producing results at a much faster clip, in many cases as good or of a better quality. The fact of the matter is that DC and company produce content at a very slow pace and at times it genuinely seems like they're purposefully drawing out development to try and drain more money out of the supporters of the project.
Again, though, it's just a porn game and we shouldn't get our collective panties in a bunch over it, but the people who complain are definitely justified due to how poor communication is from the team and how slow development is on the game.

If I reply to you and showed you evidence that I now support DC in the highest Patreon Tier, will I then be granted the coveted "superhero special ability" to criticize DC and his work? or to share some ideas(i.e progress dialogs) here without hurting peoples feelings on behalf of DarkCookie?

You can get everyone pregnant that has pregnancy routes, you don't need to choose. Right now that's Jenny, Diane and Daisy. More coming later.
