what has killed it for me, was the smugness of them in discord. they delete everything mentioning the speed of this milkfest, and you cant hear any urgency or excitement from DC in his streams to release anything fast or looking forward to developing new content.
But what reason is there to cry about this anymore. I rather support the guy from Straitened times or the NLT gang. at least they have been releasing decent stuff over time compared to this.

He´s the new "yanderedev", he only needs to start complaining about other games who are "copying his style/gameplay" and his transformation will be complete.

Just to clear something up, having scrubbed through DC's streams, the upcoming Debbie update is not end of Debbie's story.

That, and pregnancy has been pushed into a fourth update. That's not new news, I think they said that was going to happen around the end of the second part making the Debbie updates (end of January).

I'm not defending it, that's just what happened. I personally find it hilarious how one of many things the tech update was originally going to do was to make updating the game easier, and therefore faster, and he instantly takes twice as long as he originally planned introducing new content.

On the plus side, he has said that we will have sex with Debbie in the upcoming Debbie update.

However, noticing where DC is on his streams, and his team's need to take ~1 month to actually put the art into a new build, I suspect we will get the 1 sex scene (the one he drew a few months ago) and that's where the update will end.

I think even with the fourth Update the Debbie Updates won't be completed since the Pool Scene and Threesome Scenes with Diane wouldn't be in it. I think the old Debbie Scenes will be done when Dianes Remake is partly (since Daisys Return needs Roxxy and Consuella back in) completed.

It's 30 minutes every 2 weeks. They've been doing the same thing for the past 2 releases before this. Honestly they're the most consistent at putting out content so I'm not sure why people are complaining at all.

Most of the complaints directed at NLT have to do with his creative stagnation rather than his output. If you've played one of his games you've pretty much played them all: boring fetch quests, shallow characters, moronic plots, and sex scenes lacking in any real eroticism or build-up. His animations and renders are still solid, but by the halfway point of a game it's all going to absurd shit like six-way Satanic orgies with every character who happened to wander in thirty seconds ago.

My hot take, but DC's shift to an every-two-months model really shows why fans should prefer substantial updates at an irregular pace over regularly scheduled ones. Either you end up with unsatisfying half-finished story lines (who's ready for another two months of Debbie?) or you have to thin slice your content with short unsatisfying sex scenes to hit a deadline.

They are trying new ideas which have not all worked out and then you have the usual complaints about lack of incest. Personally I think that's a good thing and hopefully they learn from their mistakes.
His update speeds still match the best on this site, you can just wait a few updates if you want a reasonable chunk. Its quite funny that a supporter of DC is calling his updates nothingburgers. Lol.

Not going to lie, the tech update has killed my interest in this game. I haven't played since the tech update started.

It's hard not to kill your interest by deleting half of finished game content.
I totally don't understand rehashing the game from scratch... I mean, I understand the obvious desire to make money, but I don't understand cutting out ready-made scenes.

The scenes are cut out because the stories are being changed an expanded.

One of the most noticeable things on the streams is the redrawing and updating of simple scenes where a single character is now shown at different stages of pregnancy and attire during scenes were there never was. There's also story and dialogue changes that require additional art, hence the reason why entire portions of the game that could be described as finished, are unplugged and unplayable atm.

It's not unreasonable to be irritated at content being pulled, but there's nothing to be done about it.

Don't get me wrong, he's needed someone to crack the whip for a long-ass time and what we've got now is definitely better than nothing. At the same time, though, I wish he'd chosen to release the tech update in larger completed chunks rather than the awkward mess we have where we get useless half-updates that cut storylines in unnatural places. I think the schedule has removed whatever vestiges of urgency DC had to release meaningful updates, too; instead of thinking holistically about a complete storyline, he and his team can just shove out whatever slop they've gotten done at the deadline and ignore any complaints by rationalizing that they'll finish it "in the next update". Rinse and repeat.

there is no new idea. they started with a decent crime story, followed it up with this supernatural stuff which was in treasure of nadia decent, but in genesis people already said the story is sucked dry. like with most trilogies. But somehow he still added another part to it. The story is lame, the characters are only getting worse, and i dont even need to play the new part, because im reading all the comments here, it isnt getting any better.

He should have moved on after genesis. simple as that. something completely new and a different direction. heck, it would be great if he had any decent writer for these games, because just grinding it out for the linear progression sex scenes is tiresome. THats why Lust Epidemic is the goat of them all. I actually wanted to know what happened.

There are new ideas which you would know if you tried the new game. The fighting system however is a bad one and a downgrade. I also agree that Lust Epidemic had the best story, sadly its a pattern with these developers that their story telling gets worse over time. The newest installment's story is still well above the average of these games but not very good either.

Without truly revolutionary innovations in technology or plotting, I think the author is just eating his words, he's effortlessly laying on his laurels and earning big bucks, so someone please tell me what's so new about this new version of the game!
