It will take long on first load until everything is compiled. After that, on my machine the modded game with all optional content and community translation installed takes 36 seconds to load into the main menu, while the unmodded game without translations takes 26 seconds.

I'd say that's fast seeing what you gain for those additional 10 seconds.

On Android, it would be much slower even on fast devices, however (over one or even several minutes).

I think it might been a mistake from them to focus so much on the main story, It's no excuse for the slow progress of updates tho. I did not like the "main story" arc with the mob and all that interesting at all compared to the stuff they released earlier.
