So my 1 star review was removed and I can no longer leave a review for this game. The reason they gave me?

"Please understand that the usage of reviews is not just a means to rate a game, it is also, a way for users who have played the game to give an explanation as to why said game is good or bad. For that reason we'd advise you to read our Reviewing Rules."

Here is my review:

"No, just no............You should be ashamed of yourself for releasing this. I knew it was a good choice to stop supporting your Patreon a few months into following this game. I've never played an update to a game where the majority of past content was removed WITHOUT reason (new code/art/or rewriting is not an acceptable excuse after 2 years of nothing). Were you by chance a past Bungie Dev and thought "D2 did it, so should I"."

Now I admit that I added some unnecessary comments but I CLEARLY state my reasoning for a 1 star review by pointing out the removal of previous content. I was willing to come back and leave a proper review but I can't even do that because I've been locked out of being able to review this game....because you know it will be negative. You've removed almost every 1 star review that has been added since the update to keep a 4 star rating. Ban me if you want, but for those who've made it this far into my rant, please just leave this game to die and find a different forum to use.

I have never "invested" a penny in the game, but am glad to get what comes out. I can wait. I have played a bunch of others, waiting. My current game, with beautiful girls and graphics, is "Bare Witness", an interesting, completed, game.

It's just me, but I don't know why a lot of people get so fired up about a game that they are not "paying for". But, please don't flame me for saying that.

Again, hoping for great things this year, but playing a lot of other games while waiting... :)

I don't know why the Patreon subscribers don't just milk DC for more content instead of coming here and taking out their frustrations

Hey guys. I just wanna ask if I can play this game on Joiplay, and on version 0.20.16? I just wanna play it while having the Naughty Tribute Mod. It keeps giving me this issue:

The subscribers aren't coming here to take out their frustrations. Nearly everyone you're talking about (if not all of them) are not subscribers. A few may have been at some time in the past, but nearly all of them have never ever ever been a subscriber.

People seem to have problems with Summertime Saga and JoiPlay. The mod you are talking about has support in its thread for android version. If you have Android 10 or earlier, the mod should work with the APK with little issue. If you have Android 11 or later, there is information in the "INSTALLATION" spoiler on the mod's thread.

No. It's a fan-made patch, so there won't be any word until it actually exists. You'll have to use your imagination, change the names for janky dialogue in the game, or write your own patch if you are unable to wait.

No. It's a fan-made patch, so there won't be any word until it actually exists. You'll have to use your imagination, change the names for janky dialogue in the game, or write your own patch if you are unable to wait.

That's... ironic coming from someone like you and the DC fanbase, because none of you have ever supported SummertimeSaga and you spend 24 hours a second on this thread defending the dev, embellishing his shit.

For you to be able to talk about others, it's very simple:
First support the game and then you can talk freely about the people who never supported the game and just keep complaining.

Why is everybody fighting about this game? Like passionately too. The game ain't that good. Do something better with your time people. Go outside or something. It's not that serious.

Now that I think about, and, Omni...I mean, Count Morado, you can probably answer me this, but, why hasn't DC added the option to just modify relations, like almost all other games do? As in a "what is she to you?" (Landlady by default). This would bypass Patreon's rule, no?

some folks got invested in the game an now (somehow) feel victimized by the slow progress of it, they have the emotional maturity of a toddler so they cope with it by throwing temper tantrums on here, some other people get annoyed with that for a multitude of reasons and push back and on and on it goes.

tldr just the internet being the internet.

Are you aware that DC's account was suspended by Patreon for several months about 6 years ago for the original storyline that had Debbie, Jenny, and the MC related to each other and with Diane? The suspension also involved the original setting of it being a high school, as well as the nonconsensual sleep-sex by the MC with Jenny.

In order for DC to keep his Patreon account, he had to edit the script to change the relationships (players can rename Jenny and Debbie - but the script does not change when they do that), he had to change the setting to a college, and he had to alter the bed sex with the MC and Jenny. Patreon had to approve the changes before DC's suspension was lifted. He probably does not want to attempt to push the line and risk his Patreon account. Other developers have (see a few recently who had been warned/suspended in the past at least once, who had their Patreon accounts removed this spring because they pushed the line one too many times).

If there are developers on Patreon who allow players to change the relationship of the characters and that alters the script (so that the script has alternate coded data) - they may be in violation of the TOS/Guidelines but have not been reported yet for Patreon to review. If they simply have "what is XXXXX's name?" but nothing in the script changes, that most likely follows the guidelines. Also, developers who make patches to provide Patreon prohibited content are violating TOS/Guidelines and, should they get reported, they may find they will have to stop doing so or find their account removed.

This is why Patron can fuck themselves. It's not a place for adult games. They getting rid of all the adult games anyway. Go to subscribestar.
