dayum... No clue. Thats the new version? 1.5.2? Incest patch? If yes get rid of it. I plyed with the v2 ok in v.1.5.1 but it seems even more fucked up now.

Could be of course "just" a bug. Hmm. Telescope? Computer? Thats about what I could think of.
Maybe try the Ikaruga Mod:

yeah pretty sure i am at first i wasnt then i put it in and the mom scenes are starting to come up for me so yeah its in

Thats a known bug, please look a page or so back to my big FAQ post, I have a link for the fix there
