Most of the times when project receives no updates for a year+ means that the author is either dead/not interested in making games anymore/depressed and likely wont continue making the game because of burden it takes both physically and mentally
I think this is the case for this project as well and it will most likely stay abandoned
Next time when you see a project and last update was almost a year ago just consider it done and move on
Sad, yes but most of the times true, and if it somehow comes back to life, just click on follow button but dont expect it'll finish for another year or so.

I've been on the receiving end of that kind of pressure.
Trust me, it's mind shattering.
Many never finish.
Artistic types are full of passion for something but that passion fades away quick.
So you have to find some way to keep yourself motivated although out.
If you think you get bored of a game after playing it, imagine having to create it.
You have to hear the same sound board to see if it fits, 100s of times, check if you're not missing frames, play test everything, it's insanity inducing.
And then people on piracy sites grab all that work for free (Including me), my God, the horror.
But yeah... It's unbearable.

that's a nightmare, and more when you want to continue but don't have the strenght to do it.

I'm aware of what it means. Just wishing the creator the best, whether the game gets updates or is fully abandoned.

Everything you just said here is so relatable.

'Lost in the World of Succubi'
a WIP game by the same dev.
(possibly abandoned. i hope not but we live in the worst timeline already so at this point why the fuck not)

latest version (0.4.2): mega.nz
xUnityAutoTranslator:

save data path (because i know most of yall are just gonna look for a 100% save): ~\AppData\LocalLow\Shimofumi_ya

very similar to Super Mamono Sisters in controls, art style, and to an extent, gameplay. but at the same time, this newer game just... does all of it better than SMS.
He announced it today and added an entry on dlsite.
It's supposed to release in early January 2025.

here's the sequel----->enjoy.

if the link doesn't work then it probably went for rule 7 review, might take 6 month for it to get accepted or rejected.
RIP. I hate that when threads are deleated or get restricted the reason isn't even made public. I know you can just ask, but that would get annoying if several people keep asking about it. At least when threads get locked mods usually give a reason (even though might be flimsy one liners).

Let's say it was Rule 7. Where exactly? The witch girl you only see after running though half the game? The big titied mushroom girl where you could only tell by a line or two in the game over scene? Did some bloke confuse chibi with loli again?

Already down lol.
Good thing I downloaded it before that happened.
Already 100% the game on hard mode. Took me 4 hours. I might've been finished sooner if getting max cash didn't mean reducing your stamina to the point that every grapple drains your stamina in under second.
