VN - Ren'Py - Superhuman [v0.99999b] [WeirdWorld]

This is one of the best games I've ever seen. The early game arts might be a turn-off for some people but believe me when I say the lore and the character development are superb. There's a lot of mystery about the world of Superhuman and the more you play, the more you will understand.
Recommended for anyone who is into Lovecraftian horror.

Just finished game content till now. Thanks to Dev's unique and reeeaaaly nice plot, I found myself very much into this game. Never gave a review before, hope it'll be useful.

For any newcomer browsing commentary before trying it, I'd like to highlight a few points that pleasure me most during gameplay (with quite strict rating):

1.Characters are nicely formulated (let's say 4.5/5). They're highly distinctive and appealing, each with smooth & reasonable arc. For me, detail/psychology storytelling in each character is T1, probably not the most delicate if one gets more accustomed with those in games like Pale Carnation, but it gets compensated by the significant number of characters.

2. Definitely excellent battle plots (5/5 if not more). I can truly feel Dev's devotion into this game through detailed battle strategies, proper timing of choices and bit by bit yet powerful escalation of battle fieriosity. For those enjoy battle fantasy, this one is surely not to miss.

3. Romance-Ero balance is well-kept throughout gameplay (3.5~4/5). The approx. first half of the game is real good, while the latter half gave me feeling of somewhat passion burning-out, with less romance / development of relationship.

4. Transformation/Monster ero content (4.5/5). As for personal kink, I'm really into decent amount of domination, as well as good settings of fem monsters. Since most Ren'py games use 3D modeling, one generally cannot see creative monster ideas in these games; this one being a brilliant exception. Little do I play RPGM games, I am unsure if I can give an objective 5/5, so I'll leave a 4.5 here.

I just noticed I haven't reviewed this game yet.

I'm biased, I can address that without issue, this VN just scratch a good spot of mine that is still a sucker for the 2000s edge, beyond that I don't have much else to say that other hundred folk haven't already said, but i will still, after a certain point, sex scenes become something utterly secondary on my eyes, enjoying the lore drops, characters and fights far more, i without a dobut would read this even if it didn't have sex scenes-still, most of such nsfw scenes are entertaining, so is a welcoming 'extra', so yeah.

Do you like power fantasies?

Do you like superpowers, superheroes and supervillains?

Do you like a "no fucks given" mentality MC?

Do you like goth baddies?

Following that, do you like big booba?

Do you like a deeply immersive and story-focused AVN?

Following that, do you like hot (and sometimes pretty degenerate) sex scenes with the aforementioned goth baddies?

Then this game is for you. But before you start: Yes, the art might turn you off, which is the last thing you want to hear when you're trying to bust it to goth chicks. But trust me, it gets better. At first the story will carry this shit like Atlas shouldering the weight of the world. But the longer you read, the better the art gets. At the current patch, it's literally on a different scale. This shit is pumped up on steroids and makes what you saw at the start looks like a kindergarten project in comparison.

Anyway, trust me when I say that this AVN is the epitome of your homie saying "no balls" before a dare; it's a story so beyond comprehension. I have no idea how the author behind it wrote this and still made it so engaging and thrilling. It's like a 15-year-old's power fantasy anime arc come to life, but with the writing of someone who actually knows how to make it work without sounding corny. It's so over the top in the best way possible. You'll probably hit a point in the story where you're thinking "No way this can get any more outta pocket" Then, out of nowhere, the plot takes a wild 180, and things go from 0 to 100 - again, for the seventh time in a row. It progessively gets more fucked up the longer you engage with the story.

As for the length, there’s A LOT to read. Easily the longest AVN I've read hands down. I don't have a precise number but it's AT LEAST 20 hours worth of just story. And no doubt more if you take your time. So if you're looking for a story to enjoy at a slower pace, then it's a great pick-up. And same goes if you just wanna skip to the tittyfuck scenes with some of the action packed battles inbetween. There is so much content for everyone here to enjoy, it's a breath of fresh air.

I just really recommend it to people who can be patient and won't be deterred just because of a few meh sketches in the beginning. If you like the core elements of the story this is for real peak AVN. There’s hardly anything like it, IMO.

Best VN story I have seen that blends romance with the action/supernatural setup.
If you want to goon I'd say there is better stuff. But if you're more of a story kind of guy like me, this is the best you'll find on this site.

Best story of any AVN i've played so far, by a large margin. The art at the beginning is not that good but gets way better later on (apparently the dev is gonna redo those parts in a next update). It's also muuuuch longer than any other AVN, you have at the very least dozens of hours of content (I'd say 30 if you just play it, more if you look at every choice and do multiple playthroughs). If you're thinking about trying it, do it. If you don't cause of the early art, wait for the next update and give it a chance still, you won't regret it.
Even the choices that lead to dead ends feel very rewarding, sometimes being some of the most interesting in the game.
Edit: also, music is awesome, as for sex scenes they're fine but at some point you won't be playing for them anymore, tho it's still nice.

Also NTR and gender bending contents are optional and very rare.

If the art-style is all you're looking for in a porn game then this can be a hard sell, but I believe that this game has some of the best plots for a game of its kind. Tons of options that can lead to slight variations in the story and lots of characters to flirt with gives it hours of content.

One of best adult games so far, story, characters, music, art. All on top tier level. WeirdWorld dedicated devoloper that makes updates once in 2 mouths, and they all worth waiting, insane rare pull for that type of games. Game have mistery, amazing fighting scene and a lot of plot twist. When first i find that game i wouldnt never imagine its comes to space, gods and etc. Art its other theme to talk, from start i love that "weird" art, even if it wasnt best, it was get my attention fully. 5/5 worth playing.

The story is alright but wasn´t really into it.

Characters most I just found boring.

Art is unique sometimes it looks really bad though, but rather that than something boring.

Music is okay.

Sex scenes are good, I especially liked the scenes where MC turns female and some monster scenes, the sex scenes from the girls are meh, I just didn´t care about them.

This is a very well made experience. i came for the boobs, but then stayed for the story. and now i keep wanting more of this VN.I would very much recommend it , there's alot of content to get through and its all a fun time.

Surprisingly great story that invests you more the further you get along. Unique artwork that fits the setting of the world and story. Absolutely recommend trying out. Can't wait to see how the finished version will be.

I am not a fan of this game. The art is low mid tier edgelord stuff you'd see on deviant art in 2004. The plot is ... fine? But the art is so off putting, I cannot rate higher than 2/5

The dialogue doesn't really fit the main guy, in my opinion. He is dark and broody looking, but talks too upbeat-like, if that makes sense.

Also, I don't like the options in game that lead to game overs. At the very least, they should roll you back to that option, so you don't have to worry about saving every so often. This is a porn game, not a Tell Tale game.

As for the NTR, I didn't actually get to anything that I would consider NTR. Even after using a gallery unlocker to make sure I didn't miss something, none of the scenes I saw were NTR. Maybe Netori (Which this site lumps together with NTR) but that seems like it needed more context than I had based on the gallery unlock.

Well first and foremost the story really got me after getting through the beginning. I’ll be honest at first I thought it was going to be another super hero game with a boring plot. I am glad that it turned out to be one of the most gripping stories and journeys a game has ever taken me on.

I love most of the main characters for different reasons and the creator does a great job flushing out each of the characters. They are not your normal boring tropes where you skip what they say. This game gets in your head and I was constantly wondering what was next, who I could trust, who is evil or good. The build up of events and the climax is amazing.

the h-scenes are well done and not a bunch of women instantly dropping their paints to sleep with you. There is work, choices, and interactions just like real life. If you don’t want to pursue someone you do not have to. I love the amount of choices you get and I even like that there are dead ends as they provide a sense of realism that the decisions we make do matter.

if you love great well thought out stories this is the best I have had the experience of going through and it is not short ether.

TLDR - Great story with lots of kinky action and original worldbuilding. Artstyle probably doesn't fit everyone's sensibilities, but really fits the world.

For me, the main attraction is the story. Both the storyline and the world are original, and the characters are actually interesting. The MC has enough personality to actually feel part of the world while still allowing enough player agency to feel like this is a game and not just a kinetic novel.

Most of the female characters are voluptuous to a sometimes ridiculous degree, which isn't my jam, and the artstyle didn't click with me at the start. I still wanted to play for the story and to my surprise found that I really started to dig the art once I got accustomed to it and saw how well it fit the story being told. The art also evolves as the game progresses, but without losing the spirit.

If you can dig the art, the porn is really good. There's lots of action (both sexual and otherwise) and if you want to get into it, some of it is monstrously weird. Player agency is also respected here, so you don't need to get involved with stuff that creeps you out.

This is an absolutely stunning solo project from a first time creator that might not be for everyone, but is definitely worth trying for everyone even if one feels a bit sceptical about the art or tags. I'm expecting to only like this more once it's finished since the creator has shown great consistency and willingness to learn through the project. Based on 0.995

It's a amazing game with lots of high quality content story wise as a full play through will probably take a couple days and has a unique story. All the characters are amazing and there are a lot of characters and they all have consistent writing meaning once you have gotten to know a character they act like you expect them to later on. The art in the second half of the game is amazing and eventually the earlier art is going to get replaced so even if you aren't a fan of the early art well its going to get replaced. Honestly don't know what else to say as I rarely review games.

I've tried this VN several times, but I just don't like it.

From what I've done, the story is pretty well developed :
- It's not a fuckfest (up to where I stopped)
- There are several choices
- The dev chose not to make renders like most VNs we see nowadays (which is a good thing).

Despite these good points, I find the game weird, I couldn't tell you why, but that's how I feel when I launch the VN. Maybe it's the desired effect, because there's the “horror” tag, I don't know.

I'll give it 3 stars, but I'd advise you to try the vn yourself.

In a way the story reminds me of "Worm" (parahumans). Not just because of the general "darker" superhero theme, but because of how the writing (and in this case artwork as well) evolves over time, how the story makes space to explore more grounded aspects of humans with superpowers, and how quickly I personally got completely invested in the world and it's characters.

In the beginning I was tricked by the screenshots into thinking that this game is some kind of goth-y edgefest, and, even though that assumption is not that far off, make no mistake - "Superhuman" is absolute kino.
I won't go too much into detail to keep this review free of story spoilers, but trust me - this one is well worth your time.

There are only a few things I wish there were more of:

- Ladies with smaller chests (seriously, it's like E-cup is the absolute minimum)
- Wanton sluttery - One girl vs multiple dicks - Cucking losers - "Beastly" aspects.
Also there are a couple of sex scenes which are surprisingly short, and imo deserve a bit of attention.
But otherwise? "Superhuman" is fantastic. Go play it.

- Variety (this shines more in the second half of the game)
