Ren'Py - Sweet Affection [v0.11.4] [Naughty Attic Gaming]

I've been a fan of this series since Research into Corruption. This game is very refined, probably one of the best built-games I've played so far in regards to how the game guides you with a seamless interface.

The good:
The leveling up, by gaining affection is interesting. Common relations usually don't turn the way it went like in this game. However, in real life, there are cities in America that do exactly what is happening in this game. So, in a sense, it is true to life, but also a fantasy for everyone else.

The bad-ish?
I like how the ladies show affection towards the MC, but in my opinion affection should go both ways. Yes, when there is love, rational thinking goes down, but when playing the game with rationality this did prickle my thoughts.

Conclusion
All in all, I really enjoy this game. I enjoy it so much that both this and RIA are permanently on all my devices as I love replaying them.

I don't do rewievs but this game makes me upset.
After nearly two years of developement there is still barely any content. When you wander around the game there is way too many "not availabe in this update" like texts that quickly makes the game boring, and it feels like there is nothing to do. Oh wait... there is something, because there is that huge pointless grind with each character where you have to repeat the same events over and over again, but for what? To get some mediocre scenes? All you get is some teasing of "what will you get after a decade if the dev won't get bored and abandon the game".

This game is a waste of time at the moment. Maybe after two more years...

The graphics are cute and game mechanics are pretty good, but the story and the way it progresses is very hard to believe, and because of that, hard to get into it and enjoy.

You get a mom and a sister. Coincidentally, the mom is super lonesome sexually and the sister is secretely wanting your dick too, and has zero interest in any other boys. Why you ask? She answers it in her diary: "in school we learned about the word Taboo, incest and I couldn't stop thinking about my brother ever since then". Okayyyy.... This girl is supposed to be going to a college, btw. Learning words? Okayyy... Moving on. You get a busty neighbour who coincidentally is an exhibitionist with zero shame, she has a daughter who coincidentally is uncontrollably thirsty for your cock after 20 mins of knowing you...

You get the picture. It's just really hard to get into it, because of that reason. It doesn't hook you into the fantasy, since the fantasy is so poorly thought out and entirely flimsy whimsy, doesn't even try to be believable or relatable. It's sex phantasmagoria all the way.

BTW if you were looking for corruption, this game is probably a hard pass for you, since the author's idea of corrupting mom is telling her how amazing and wonderful she is repeatedly, which magically melts all her defenses over time and turns her into a lewd cougar. Super, super vanilla and no power play aspects in this game whatsoever that I could discover. You're gonna be the Good Guy (tm) always and get no choice about it.

It has cute scenes though, a nice sandbox type framework, and there's some basic grinding to be had if you like that aspect.

The artwork is superb and the story is somewhat believable.

I didn't rate it higher for two reasons:
1) The endless repetition of the MC telling his mother and sister how incredible they are. There are seemingly endless chains of the same dialogue, day after day, which gets old.
2) Grind. I know developers put the grind in there to make up for a lack of content, but some games go overboard. I do appreciate the diary, which helps.

Other than those two items, I like the game.

RIA is awesome. One of my top two game played.
While there is a bit of churn, it takes time to tear down walls of resistance so I'm not troubled by that in this game.
I'm really looking forward to the next couple of updates (one just came out, but i haven't seen it yet) with some "background content" added.
I would love to see it easier to view M and S diary updates related to new interactions.

some may dislike the slow progression but that makes it more exciting you slowly corrupt those around you and you want more step by step you conquer those woman and make them yours I cant want for the new update xox

A simply and great job. A good design of 3D images to produce life-like images. it has been a good story development. Maybe it could be better take advantage of other people (office and school) or neighboors, maybe in the next update . Congratulation

This game just hits the right spots on me.

I like the diary system, the dev is using in his games. It feels like, I get a look on what is going inside of the heads of the characters and that is a huge plus on my side for the immersion.

The graphics are fine but the highlight is how everything is written. In addition, although this game has a certain kind of grind, it never bothers me, it feels really natural.

One of the first games I downloaded from this website (6 months ago) and still one of the main reasons for me to come again every once in a while, this game really has something interesting to show to all of us.

It can be described as a simple game overall because there´s not a lot you can do in-game to spend the day, but that is not going to be a problem because of all the fun you can have with your partners inside the house. Besides, you can easily repeat these same events, different from other games where you can only watch once and have to see them in the gallery to enjoy them again. For me, this is a big PLUS.

I guess the game can have a lot of improvement yet, like some more animations including ones not related to a sexual moment, maybe we just need to see M walking in the hallway.

Also, it´s a little weird how the game has so much quality and realism in the scrips and the dialogue, how it looks so natural for them to fall into the corruption and open up to the player, and yet, M and S act exactly the same almost every day, I mean, there are not random encounters. Except for those special days, they never break the code and go swiming at night, they never get sick so they have to stay at home on a normal day, they never stay in the TV for more than the usual hour; etc. But I guess some things like these can be added to the game one day.

But with all that said, I give this game 5 stars, not because of the current quality, but because of what it is going to be in the future. I have hopes in this project...

I thoroughly enjoyed the build of this game so far. It's one of the best 3d games that I've played so far. Animations, story, and enjoyment value. It is highly voyeuristic at this current stage which is both a pro for it and a con against it for me.

I understand though that it's still in development so that doesn't really detract from it's score for me. If you're into that aspect I think this game is very worth it.

Won't go into details on the scenes to avoid spoilers, but the animations on this game were superb in my opinion. My only complaint with them is how short they can be before they move on. Almost wish there was a sort of click through at your on pace aspect to it

The writing and story are well done. I enjoyed the corruption aspect to it. Areas where there could be improvement is in the dialogue with the mom and sis. Just parts of it though. Mostly a repetitive issue and by that I mean that by the end of this build sometimes I felt like my character and them were saying the same things to each other without gaining any new ground.

Mostly in the "should we be doing this" *convince convince convince "maybe its ok" strings haha. There were times when I was like we've done much more than this already, but we have to tread this ground again?

With all that said this is still a five star game for me by a mile. Really looking forward to updates that add content and locations open up.

To get the criticism out of the way, the only reason this isn't getting 5 stars from me is that the only way this game is not Max's Life is the different furniture, and the much less ambitious number of girls. And Ren'py. I can't bring myself to give 5 stars to something this derivative. Having said that I will also say that this game is excellent. The art is beautiful, the girls are hawt, the nawties are just right in both content and pacing. Super good scratches for the "taboo" itch. Really good animations too, especially breasts, which are so often scary and wrong. If this is, as the dev hints, something that they've undertaken as a proof of their talents, then their talents are real, and we shall all be poorer when they find work in the mainstream.
The only other thing I'd add is that, as good as the sexual content is, it's time to pause it and work on the in-game economy. The grind is super minimal, and it's wisely been combined into the time-advance function, but it happens every day, and there's nowhere to spend your fapbucks except the spycams, which are useless.

conclussion: EDITED; the 2 stronger points on this game are tha pace of the story, in other version of this game it was like "hi!, thank you for being nice with me, let me BRBRBRBBR your cock with my mom watching" now there is more sense on the develope of the plot (sense in a porn game of curse) and and the second stronger things is how the game looks, is not a lets copy paste some things and see whats happens, there is effort and though on the design, and it shows.

I thought this was just a ripoff of Research Into Corruption, and man I was wrong.

This one is much better. The choice to change engines felt much better, after a short attempt of replaying the old one, man theres a significant improvement in usability.

Although in this stage of the game there is no real sexual content aside from peeking, which if you ask me is'nt a problem here. The models are still good, but the dialog is much better. The charecters feel better and I generally like them. Which lead me to enjoy this.

It left me disapointed on all paths morever. Only because I finished all available content. It left me wanting more. I do hope that the devs explore more than just a big mom and sis fuck fest the previous game turned into. I will be watching this for now on!

I don´t know why, but this game is somewhat simular to a game i played some time ago...
But i think this one is even better! I like the progress-system, the family is so hot and i can´t wait to see more!
The H-scenes are verry hot and i love the way this family "grows" together.
Although i hope for more charakters like in that other game, but i think that will come with time...

I found this game to be charming. There's no magic or pills or manipulation. The relationships are loving and the sexual attractions seem to unfold organically.

There is no story line as this is strictly fap material. The models are basic Honey Select models but well posed and the scenes are well constructed.

The only interactions so far are with the mother and sister, though if you are not into incest, the game gives you the option to portray them differently. The kink level is light consisting mostly of voyeur opportunities. The MC watching the mother and sister shower, pee and masturbate are the most lewd aspects portrayed thus far.

The sexual tension is very good as you slowly peel away the household members' inhibitions. It's slightly grindy, but there is a cheat button to max out money and affection points for those in a hurry.

Overall, I'm looking forward to advancing the relationships with these characters and meeting new ones. Well worth a download.
