Sword Art Online game

Hi long time lurker this is my first post or comment but I noticed there was no parody game of the Sword Art Online franchise. I have been thinking about potentially developing one if there is enough interest in such a project. I already have the basic plot worked out and I have started coding for the game on the side as a hobby. Also if anyone could recommend an artist, I would prefer they be able to imitate the style of the original material (ie. Rex from Narutopixxx.com or SR7 from GunsmokeGames).

Well, SAO characters are attractive for anime characters, and chances are it would actually be better than the original story so... I guess? Maybe it will make me actually like the series. Also, bonus points if the SOA protag isn't the protag. Even more points if you make the game a harem just to piss off real SAO fans who cry that SAO isn't a harem.

Something to consider is the original content. A lot of people liked SAO for the romantic aspect. One might pause to see those characters "defiled" in their mind. However, a Harem Romance Game might work.

A dirty genre might be a hard sell to fans of the series. But it might be great. I could see a dirty version of a HighschoolDxD or anything with tons of fan service-type content, but when an anime that is pretty focused on a romance gets too dirty, it will turn off some of the people you would be targeting.

This is based on the premise that you want to do it profitably. If it's a project of passion, do it!
