An all-round great game with, even at v0.01, lots of content (it took me about 2-3 hours to see everything even though I'm a fast reader), superb models and good writing.

I only have some minor gripes with the game: the music that plays in the game during scenes with Serra is very upbeat and happy, but it doesn't make sense to have the same happy music when she's crying because she's being yelled at at work. I also miss stuff you can do that doesn't involve the girls: if there aren't any girls at home or in the garden, there's basically nothing you can do besides napping and fantasizing. Hopefully, with the addition of new locations, content like this will become available (though the dev will probably just add locations outside the house where the girls are working or hanging out).

In any case: great game, highly recommended and I'm looking forward to new content.

Pros:

• Good Story and Best CGI H scene I've scene so far
• The angles are the best, very hard for many people to get it right
• Character dialog reactions matching to what would be expected in the H scenes.
• The animations are really good so far.

Cons:

• Just not enough content at the time of review, went through the whole game in 20min (Version sylphine -.01(basically the very first release))

Feedback:

• Has alot of potential, my feed back would be more interaction options with the characters around the house(e.g eating, nighttime snack, cleaning, bathroom usage, putting on make up and doing hair, facial care (things girls would do daily)).
• Would be nice to have variation on interactions when hanging out with them instead of the same exact scene.
• However if anything i think story needs to be priority or more H scenes be added or both.

This is review asking alot but I truly do think this game is gonna be a guaranteed 5 star for me after afew updates if the quality of everything stays the same and more animations are added.
Even with this amount of content to get a 4 star from me is very good.(just barely 4star)
I will review this again after alot updates or 2 big updates to the game passed.

Edit: what the dev had released was really solid but unfortunately it does not appear if any iteration of this game will ever be finished, so knocking it down a star and adding the edit for anyone new

Only the initial release but i'm leaving a review anyway and i'll tell you why. This game is beautiful. The characters are great looking and the animations look pretty great too. But the real reason i'm not worried is because the characters are really well written and the developer has serious plans for the game (check out this thread). This is an overhaul of Sylphia Island which had a good amount of content so there isn't anything to be worried about here. Just play the game and you will be as excited about the next update as me.

Huge potential. Good story and great renders. All the woman have distinct personalities making a good variety. All the woman are sexy and interesting with distinct personalities. Each treats the MC differently and how they speak to you changes as you improve relationship. Looking forward to more!

I think this game will be amazing in future updates. As it stands, it's really good. Somewhat typical in the girls dispositions, the nice one, the gamer, the tsundere, the overly-motherly 'landlady', it still has a ton of potential.
Girls are smoking hot, and is a definite attractor. Story, such as it is, needs to be fleshed out, but I'm sure we will see an actual 'story line' in future updates. This introduction is really nice, and should become something I will truly love to play as it evolves and matures.

Version Reviewed: v0.01

For a v0.01 game released by a novice game dev attempting a sandbox game, Sylphine is surprisingly polished. There are some rough edges, but the overall experience was superb. The story was compelling enough to keep me interested while performing the expected "chores" of a sandbox game, I.E. Wake up, explore, work on relationship points, follow the breadcrumbs to the next character arc reveal, etc. And, refreshingly, theses chores were not as dry and mundane as more polished games I've played. The balance between performing the sandbox tasks and the slow reveals of the primary plot was well executed as well.

Further updates decide whether this game 1. Keeps its 4-star rating from me or gets bumped up. 2. Can continue to keep itself a well-balanced sandbox experience.

Beautiful girls with marked, distinct personalities, and storylines not only well written, but full of little details that anyone that has gone through a real relationship can connect with. Highly recommended.

v0.01 Review

Unfortunately the colourful girls with their coloured personalities do nothing to hide the fact that this is a very bland VN. Just because the women are vastly different from each other doesn't mean they have depth. I disagree with an earlier review that states that the girls don't have cookie cutter personalities because they're very much drawn from overused tropes i.e. the library nerd, the tree hugger, bitchy teenager, etc. I get that they're supposed to come off as "quirky" but they're all so rigidly engrossed within their own identities that they seem more like caricatures than real people.

In the prologue, when the mc was going around on an exposition tour introducing each girl, I found myself dozing off because the conversations were aimless and insignificant to the mc and the main story. We're told off the bat that the mc hasn't been spending much time with the girls as of late, and he was debating whether he should break out of this funk. But then there's no indication of missed time when he's talking to all of them. Although I was lamenting the lack of choices in the prologue, I was grateful that Sylphine wasn't a sandbox, or so I thought....

This game is a textbook example of sandbox done wrong (and they're rarely done right to begin with). You can choose to spend up to 3 "events" per day with the girls to "boost" your relationship. These involve very little to no dialogue b/t the characters and adds nothing to the story, beyond getting you one step closer to getting in their pants. Then there are the "story" events which actually do feature dialogue, but the only person you can have a semi-intelligent conversation with is Alex.

Other sandbox gripes: There are no labels for rooms inside the house, so you have to memorize them, and even then accidental clicks are bound to happen. It's also tedious to open up the notebook and click on individual girls to know where they are, rather than showing all their locations in a centralized place, which also forces you to learn their schedules.

The reason I gave it a 3 instead of a lower score is because the game is at a very early stage and perhaps with more content, the overall experience will be different. I can also acknowledge that there is a fanbase of people with lesser expectations who just want cute girls they can fuck; well this is your game then. I'm not in that crowd. The remake suffers from the same issues as its predecessor, with the exception of noticeable jumps in render quality, models, and lighting.

Even though is only the alpha version of a first release it is already a top notch VN.

The story is refreshingly light but an excellent story line. The characters are very humorous and likeable. Renders are excellent also. It is easy to navigate without that much grind for a sand box game. Has great potential to be a great harem story especially if Ela, Arya, Lexi and Sophia were included making it eight females for the MC to have a "love" relationship with.

The only down side is the look of the MC. Seems a little young looking to me anyway.

Honestly a good start.
The characters all seem to have depth. Not just a cookie cutter paste ons.
Each lady is unique, and sexy.
I did notice a few typos here and there, but not enough to take away from the story.
It's honestly a good start to what hopefully becomes a great VN in the future.
I wrote this before reading other reviews. I did not know this was a remaster. It makes no difference as I never knew of the original. I thought this was a first time VN. So, its still a good start

I highly recommend trying this out. The dev(s) has/have been nice enough to put in a fail safe guide. No wondering around hoping to find a clue to what to do next.
I know this is just a demo type release, but hopefully there will be gap fillers between seeing the girls.

Now with that said let's get to the review. (Its safe to read on. No spoilers ahead.)

This rating is for the alpha release.

All the characters are amazing in both looks and personality and the way they and the MC interact with each other makes you want to hang out with them instead of simply needing to for story progression. Personally I can't think of any negative things to say about any of the characters.

The way that glace tells a story draws you in and keeps you wondering what happens next even without smashing you with a massive cliffhanger. Something that isn't as common as one would wish.

Glace has mastered the small yet simple details that give that little extra appeal to the environments like the placement of items that fill the scene but he doesn't over do it either giving it that that nice balance. Details that most devs sadly dont bother with.

we loved the old story and game but this new one is sublime, more story content from the get go to dive in the graphics are as perfect as i have ever seen, i cannot wait for the full version so we can dive in deeper in the story and al those awesome renders of the cute and sweet looking girls in this epic game thank you glacerose

I don't think I need to explain like DUH. Everything's perfect, the characters are a mixture of fun hot and cute, the story is iconic SI with a twitch, the writing is amazing. Basically you're a couple of updates away from butchering daz AVNs so keep up X)

This is a really fun and enjoyable game. The girls are all fairly realistic and the artwork is amazing. They arent just some tits and ass to ogle and then have the MC ignore them, but instead have a very lifelike interaction with the MC and the world around them. And the writing is shaping up to be great with the whole intrigue of what is going on in the shadows while the MC just tries to live a normal life with the people around him. I highly recommend you give this game a chance and watch how it grows as more updates come out.

I can't Believe that this is from the same developer that originally made sylphine island with honey select because of how beautiful this game is

First of i wanna say that I loved sylphia island even though it had limitations with what he/she could do with honey select because the characters where and are still really good the dialog was and still is really good the sex scenes where really good the pacing etc. Where and are still really good so as a fan of the original sylphia island I am so happy that the developer took the time to learn better software I think it is DAZ that he/she is using for this beautiful Remake

Now to start off the actual review for this beta release of probably one of the best porn games on here in the future and I mean that this could be huge in the future

First off the models of this game are gorguess absolutely breath taking it's insane that the developer goes from honey select to this these are some of the best if not the best ever models I've ever seen in a porn game they are gorguess and all unique plus I love the color of every characters and the house itself

the Story it seems that the developer is gonna put more time into the Story something that was't really the case in the original and I love it this seems to be a pretty unique and cool Story if the into is anything to go on the intire intro is completely different and it starts of great

the dialoge while there are some mistakes for a beta there aren't many I encountered maybe 2 anyway the actual dialoge is amazing the jokes the way the characters talk to each other it's all amazing and I don't have anything else to say about it

The gameplay it's pretty much the same as the original free roam talk to which ever character you want to progress their Story and I love it I love it when games do that because I can choose who I wanna interact with and advance their Story

Now I wanna talk about the sex scenes but as far as I can see there aren't any yet which is fine it's a beta after all but I do wanna say some things about it if the developer can't do animations yet or ever that's fine I don't need animations in porn games it's nice when it is but it's not needed for me what I do expect though is atleast use different images for them for example a blowjob scene when the dialoge says she's deepthroating me atleast let it transition to an image of her taking your cock deeper that's all, I wanna say that' s the bare minimum I expect in porn games

And that's pretty much all I wanna say so I wish the best for the developer and I hope he/she can make the game that they want to make and I can't wait for the actuall game to come out slowly take your time and make the best game you can make I truly Believe this can be one of the best porn games on this website and I wish the developer the best of luck

I've been an active member in Glace's discord (and also a patron) for a while and seeing the amount of work he has put in from both of these places is astounding. He has put in a lot of time and effort to achieve beautiful renders, well written dialogue, interesting characters and overall, an enjoyable story and experience.

The quality of renders for Sylphine is insane. All the girls look beautiful and unique and have great figures, their facial expressions and gestures aren't sloppy and look fantastic too. Not only the girls, but also the surrounding environment. Regardless of where the girls are, the lighting, positioning, props, etc. are all well placed and contribute to the beautiful setting and renders and often also contribute to the girls' personalities (for example their rooms)

The dialogue for the characters is some of the best I've seen. Although I've only played the patron test of the game for the girls, I was amazed at how well written the dialogue was. Sylphia Island (which was what the game used to be called before it had a complete rework/rehaul in Daz as well as story wise) was very well written already, but Glace has blown me away at how much he improved. The dialogue is funny, engaging and consistent and I'm not left feeling bored during any exchange. The dialogue also suits each characters personality and I never feel like that's something they wouldn't say.

Although I haven't seen much of it yet, the story so far is very interesting and very promising. The backstory for the game is great and leaves a lot of questions that draw you in and I can't wait for them to be answered. I'm looking forward to see how the plot for the main story line, MC and girls develops because they all look like they are going to be great.

I can't comment much on the romance or intimate scenes at the moment, because obviously it is still very early game so we are yet to see that stuff in game, but knowing Glace, when we eventually reach that point it will be very rewarding and worth the wait.

Really enjoyable. The girls are all really freaking cute and sexy and although there isn't much to the story yet, it seems really interesting. There is a level of depth added into the story that I hope we get to look into as we build up the relationships with the girls.

It's obviously really early in development but I can't wait to see where this game is at in half a year or so.

Not sure if I am daft but I didn't notice a skip time button (I just slept to pass time). That would be really nice to have.

Although I am the biggest critic of sandbox-based games, I concede that this game manages to do a decent job of making it simple and enjoyable. Granted, that could be due to the lack of content but hopefully the sandbox continues to be straight-forward and streamlined down the road.

Easily recommended and I'll try to keep the review up to date in the future.

Absolutely wonderful. I simply could not like this any more than I do. Every character, including the MC, is instantly a pleasure to interact with. What was a charming game with potential, previously, seems to have bloomed into perfection. Go, go, go.
