This game has a potential to be a popular but seems not gonna happen, the combat system has ruin everything, I can't even complete the quest where to kill those robbers on the apartment .
You know what I like the other games who has a beautiful kind of girls on the game it seems it's totally sucks everything is ugly

Played a bit and it is quite funny. I can see an evolution in scenes details and game mechanics. Dialogues are very decent and atmosphere at the level of the previous games. I hope to see more refinement on the menu and maybe a better font. Great since now.

Its the same game we have seen before but done much worse.

At this point you know what you get when it comes to NLT games as you more then likely already played one of their previous games the only problem is that this time they tried to innovate in different ways, in ways people didn't really ask for.

Here are some reasons why i give it a 2/5.

The new combat system if you can call it that is atrocious and should have never been put into the game.

The girls are much worse and this is coming from someone who already thought the girls in TGO we're bad but the days of us getting love interests like Diana, Claire and Naomi are long gone.

The story should have been something new this time around but once again we find ourselves dealing with the same long running arc that started with lust epidemic.

As a final thought, this is the first time in a LONG time that i have no interest in a new NLT game.

NLT living up to the expectations once again. Great game so far, like the isometric view. A ton of girls, new ways to get hearts, fighting system, so much new things. The lip synced animations are great, the map is fun to navigate and the locations themselves are gorgeous with great colors and lighting. Music is fantastic as always. Every track fits the location very well.

Combat system ruins the experience completely. Also needs a quest tracker of some kind. Animations are better than last game, voices are a plus, but on the whole it feels so janky. Disappointed to see AI slop as useless details throughout the world as well.

For this type of combat system it is absolutely necessary to add hexagones and action points or at least turn sequence or remove it completely.
Game is needed in some type of questhelper, otherwise it's incredibly boring to walk through every location and inspect every shinie or unusual thing.
Although models are good and basically same with over NLT games.

Incredible downgrade from past games; it’s as if NLT just keeps finding a way to artificially extend the games instead of making them fun. They keep adding gameplay mechanics that are a waste of time, I bet most players are just here for the story that comes from developing the relationship with the girls and the sex that comes out of it, not to level up or collect items. I wish they would ditch the RPG engine for something else. It was enjoyable in Lust Epidemic since everything was contained in one place, and it wasn’t cluttered with extra locations.

Now, with so many things to do, it feels like a huge time sink, which I’m not willing to deal with for a game like this. I hope the next game changes the formula because I’m done with the RPG Maker stuff. Besides, the stories always end up with a boring, senseless harem ending anyway, and NLT’s writing is pretty bad. The only thing that kept me coming back was the girls, but it looks like this time around he also fucked that up too.

These reviews are wild so lets make a few things clear.

incest isnt allowed on patreon games, so disliking the game on a personal preference is wrong.
NLTs formula isnt going to change. RPGM is the engine he likes, as he wants a game, and not just a story book click Visual novel
NLT is still in the top 10 for adult game creators on patreon, making great money and with huge steam sales to boot. There is no reason to make huge changes.
Also its WAYYYY too early to judge this game but here we go.

The models have a wider variety of types, to appease more players. you arent meant to like all of the women, and that is okay. but in the 16+ strong cast, there should be one or two girls you enjoy.

The move from the RPGMV engine to the new MZ engine has brought a fun isometric view, which has made the game seem way more modern. With games like Diablo, and BG3 having great success with this view. it was a good move by NLT.

The gameplay for the most part is the same as the old games. Its a formula that's worked since LE, and its now NLTs mark on the gaming space.

The graphics and resolution are limited by the game engine so never expect a 4k from NLT anytime soon. And it would also make the game HUGE to download.

Talking of the renders, animations and graphics. Since ToN NLTs games have been a stand out in the adult gaming space. Rivaling some of the best pure Visual novels.

NLTs main calling card is his consistency of output that can not be snuffed at. 2 updates a month, and 3 games already fully completed with zero abandoned projects. Which in this industry is super rare.

The game in its current state is still very raw. Lots of updates need to come before the story and the evolution of the fighting can be judged.

I know people want something new form NLT rather than the same model that never changes, but c'mon it's not fair giving it only 2/5.
Art 5/5 as always, despite that I'm getting tired of their game. Still, NLT's animation and models are one of the best on this website.
Story4/5, Not sure about this yet. It looks like a continuation of the pervious one, and if they are going to tell the same shit like TGO I´ll be disappointed. Lets hope they will get us something new.
Honestly I wasn't writing this at the beginning, just curious seeing why this game getting a 2/5 average, at the first release. That's just not fair. This is a good one, better than most of other porn games.

Just not as good as NLT's previous games, given what a brilliant game ToN was. TGO was kinda average and turned stale after a while.

Sure, regular updates and kinks in the fighting system can be worked out and we can get used to the isometric view, but... it's the characters.

They just don't have the same appeal anymore, Most of the women have a similar body type, but some just look creepy or outright ugly. I get that this is what sells, but, I personally won't be playing it.

Can't say much about the story yet, but if TGO was anything to go on, then It'll just evolve into another boring orgy fest, where the scene viewer will probably be more used than the newly developed fighting mechanic.

    ToN was peak
    TGO was slightly above average
SotS is mid (so far, but that may change)
Can't really give a proper rating yet, but, overall 3/5, but that may change depending on the later stages of the game.

Edit: It's not looking good bruv. How is the animations quality worse than TGO. And it's gonna take 3-4 years to complete at this rate with the current update schedule.

Terrible game, buggy and repetitive. Guy's been using the same receipe for years now, it seems that innovation isn't guarantee of quality. The girls are uglier, the game went down a path totally opposed to what we expected comming from Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia.

NLT seems to be stuck in time. They are using the same engine, basically the same story, the same renders, the same characters and the best part of their games (the wincest) is now completely removed from their games. Additionally, their animations are already showing their age with stiff arms and strange looking faces. The gameplay, limited by RPGM itself, was rough since the beginning, so I am not going there.

While the visuals were top-notch 8 years ago and ok'ish 3 years ago, they are now overshadowed by a lot of other games. I am actually surprised they are doing the same AGAIN after The Genesis Order was already showing its age.

Very uninspiring lore that you just want to skip through, boring looking and generic characters, isometric view makes the game more difficult to navigate, the fighting mechanism is frustrating and doesn't work well. The game is not just plain vanilla, it's flavorless.

Once again a NLT game is not getting the credit it deserves in reviews.
Even from the start this looks like another top effort from them. The graphics and story are a step up from the last game.
Yes its the same NLT formula but that's still better than almost all games on this site. Content wise this dev is one of the best in getting updates out at a fast pace. The amount of content gets a 5 because of the devs track record.

    Story 4/5, Originality 3/5, Renders 4/5, Playability 4/5, Performance 5/5, Animations 5/5, Amount of content 5/5

I think I'm finally done with any more NLT games. After Lust Epidemic (great game!), Treasure of Nadia (OK-ish game) and The Genesis Order (OK-ish as well), the most recent game "Symphony of the Serpent" is quite disappointing so far. Although I kinda like the new isometric view -- it has its pros and cons. I also do have issues with all of the (so far) introduced female characters in this game. Most of them seem to represent a more MILF type with huge breast which I don't like at all (that's the reason I rated the last two games from NLT "OK-ish" rather than great!), and also the first beta release of this game has quite a couple of game breaking bugs: I do like the fighting mini game they have added, but it's bugged as f*ck -- sometimes enemies just freeze and stop moving at all, and sometimes you just get hit with no enemies being nowhere near you. Sometimes you just get stuck in an area with no way to return to the map, and you'll have to reload a previous game. I hope NLT will fix those bugs in the next version, which might be the last version of the game I will playing unless they will add/introduce some decent and appealing female characters.

The cinematic as always is topnotch, the female characters are all beutifully render. Now here are my issue first the main character is a downgrade if you compare it to TGO and ToN. The isometric view might look good but its kinda hard to get use to especially when using the directional button even the mouse, it makes me dizzy truth to be told. The combat system is another problem for me to get in the back of the opponent and hit them, or using the environment if the view is the same as TGO it might be doable but the isometric view is kinda hard getting use to. It took me 10 tries and 20min just to beat the thugs in the final part of the game.

I know I said alot of negative on the game but it is still a good game and there will be alot of development that they can improve if possible return the top camera view rather than the isometric view

For now i'm giving it a 3 stars.

    Average at best so far.
Isometric view seems like a step down and pretty gimmicky.
The new characters dont look as good and polished, just something off about them. Overall it doesnt look as crisp graphics wise.

NLT Media has once again proven why they are one of the few game developers committed to continuous updates and delivering better content. Their latest release is a testament to their dedication to quality and player satisfaction.

From the outset, the game captivates with its stunning visuals and immersive storyline. The attention to detail is remarkable, making every scene feel vibrant and alive.
