VN Tabletop Pornstar (In Development)

Hey guys, I'm developing Goss_IP atm but I found a couple of weeks to start a new project on the side, called Tabletop Pornstar. Its first release might be ready by the end of the summer 2021.

The 1st MC is a country girl, running away from an abusive stepfather and arriving at the city to start a new life pursuing her dream to become an actress...

Life's hard though... From waiting tables and other dead end jobs, she becomes a stripper and later a porn actress... or even a Pornstar!

The game mechanics are very different from the usual VN. It's like a tabletop game, with dice and random event cards...

I'm planning to put other MCs too. After the country girl, there's the "desperate housewife" the "Bookworm student" and others...

It would be great to tell me what you think...

This looks really interesting, and I don't think I've seen another game with gameplay like this before.

I'm getting a cool comic book vibe from the art, without going too far into marvel-land. Definitely not yet-another-anime-influenced drawing style.

A semi-randomised series of events to get access to content while you play is great as a game mechanic, it really can make players feel like they are working for the results. (Incidentally I've recently come to realise why some players, myself included, actually enjoy some level of grind to get to the good parts of games - it makes it feel like you earned a reward, not just skipped to the cumshot scene on pornhub.)

I would question the wisdom of stopping progress on your primary game to have a side project, but it's your life so you do you.

Board game porn is not something I would expect but this seems like it could be done real well. Sounds like it will encourage emergent storytelling where the player maybe fills in some of the blanks. I think it would be interesting for the player to be able to seed their start with setting up unique stats or something like that so the game could be used, like I said, as sort of a way for the player to construct a story, if that makes sense. I really like the look of the Table Megan Pawn, your other art is good but she is extra nice. I think this may have something to do with the more simplistic shading style, compared to the more sort of "pillow shading" on the others, less can be more! Her hair also looks amazing, tons of detail. Keep up the good work, looking forward to this.
