I don't htink 24 hrs have passed but I can't access the mod on the patreon. Do I need to create an account?

Currently, the updated mod is only available on Patreon. After 24 hours have passed since the mod was published on Patreon, it will be available here for free. It's just that supporters have faster access.

Generally, you can. If you're choosing multiple paths, you'll be railroaded into 1 of them on the non-modded, though.
